The latest batch of mainline Pokemon games Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet may have had a rocky launch tech-wise, but they have performed incredibly well at retail. The latest Japanese sales figures for the retail versions of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet show that the newer games have surpassed Pokemon Sword & Shield sales in just eight weeks. Pokemon Sword & Shield have been on the market for three years now. Earlier today, The Pokemon Company said that they will be deploying a large update for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet towards the end of February . It’s not clear what will be fixed and added at this moment in time.

Apparently we needed a graph for the sales figures between Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in comparison with the sales figures for Pokemon Sword and Shield. Now we Just need a pie chart.

This is great news. Scarlet and Violet are such great Pokemon games. They deserve all the sales they get.
Well if they fix performance they may get my purchase from me end of February. Couldn’t justify a purchase the way it was released.
