The latest physical video game charts have come through for the biggest gaming market in Europe, the United Kingdom. This week sees both the acclaimed The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild together in the top ten. Tears of the Kingdom remains at No.1 for its third week and Breath of the Wild entered the top ten at No.7. Interestingly, the heavily criticised Lord of the Rings: Gollum has entered the charts at No.6 with 70% of boxed sales on Sony’s PlayStation 5. Here’s the GfK UK Boxed Top Ten for the week ending 27th May, 2023:

How is Lord of The Rings Gollum No.6 and Dead Island 2 No.10 with the current state of Lord of The Rings Gollum.
It’s all in the title, ‘ must get lord of the rings’ must get it’…
…..Oh it’s crap!
If Lord of the Rings: Gollum was any good it would have been number 1 this week. The fact it’s at number 6 is down to its atrocious reviews and that put a lot of people off. Nintendo owners won’t be getting this anyway, expect the delayed Switch port to be cancelled in the coming months.
