Prince of Persia: The lost crown climbing segment

Summer Game Fest organiser and video game journalist, Geoff Keighley, has been trying out some of the playable demos available at the event and reports that the Prince of Persia : Lost Crown demo on Nintendo Switch ran at 60fps, which is excellent news. Ubisoft gave fans another look at the new Prince of Persia game yesterday during their Ubisoft Forward event and it looks to be shaping up well. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown launches on multiple platforms in January next year.

    1. A full 3D game, with engine used to animate fights with ennemies and bosses, multiple levels of depth, crispy background with animated elements, a lot of graphical effects during combat, 3D animations … is logically easy to handle by the switch ? It’s like saying that any 2D fight games (like DBZ) are easy to handle by switch because it’s “only 2D” ? It doesn’t work like this.

        1. We’ve sure come a long way from the DS and PSP days when people would try and say “why should I get a DS when the PSP graphics look so much better?!”

“Ugly” graphics is such a subjective thing and has absolutely nothing to do with game performance. I’m just glad that a new 3rd party release is gonna play at 60fps on the Switch for once.

Am I gonna buy the game? Ehh, probably not. It’s still good news for six and a half year old tablet fans
