Tomorrow is the release of Sonic Origins Plus. It’s an expansion of Sonic Origins, and it is adding some more content to the compilation. The new content includes Game Gear games, Knuckles as a playable character in Sonic CD, and Amy Rose as a playable character in Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic CD.
Well, SEGA is very much aware of the game’s imminent launch. You may already know that there is a Sonic Central presentation planned tomorrow. However, the company has also decided to release a launch trailer for the game. You can see the launch trailer for yourself down below.
They did an amazing job with the trailer, showcaseing the new modes and challenges.
Some of the content shown was presented as if it were new (e.g. Knuckles in Sonic 2, which has been a thing since Sonic & Knuckles in the 90s). Also still outraged by their treatment of the music in Sonic 3. On the other hand, I’m very excited to see Amy playable in the classic games! My inner child and I are ecstatic! Overall, mixed feelings here.
