Bandai Namco and Byking have unveiled a new action game titled Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash, set to release on multiple platforms including Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam). The game, designed for two-versus-two battles, will allow players to choose characters from the popular anime series Jujutsu Kaisen and engage in intense combat utilizing the series’ renowned “Cursed Techniques.” While no specific release date has been provided, the game will support both local single-player and online multiplayer for up to four players.
In Japan, the physical and digital versions of Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash will be available for PlayStation 5 and Switch, while the PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC versions will be digital-only. Bandai Namco has shared an overview of the game, emphasizing its faithful adaptation of the original story and distinct aesthetics. Players will have the opportunity to experience the battles and events from the anime, defending humanity against Curses in modern-day Japan. With more than fifteen characters to choose from, each offering unique abilities and synergies, players can create their own powerful two-versus-two teams and unlock stronger attacks by progressing through battles. Misaki Kai, the producer at Bandai Namco Entertainment, expressed excitement about bringing Jujutsu Kaisen’s captivating storyline and intense action to the world of video games. The forthcoming Jujutsu Kaisen Panel Presented by Crunchyroll at Anime Expo 2023 on July 2 will reveal additional information about the game. Stay tuned for more updates as Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash immerses players into the thrilling world of the anime and delivers an action-packed gaming experience.

I like Jujutsu Kaisen, however i’d much rather see something similar in comparison with DBZ Kakarot then another 2v2 3d brawler.
Expect nothing but a crap ton of monetization because that’s all Bandai Namco does for these anime games.
There is literally no reason to even play these type of games after beating it the first time because anything else worth playing through will be locked behind a paywall and if it’s the story you want you can easily just go read the manga or watch the TV show for much cheaper paying for the game and crap ton of overpriced dlc they will definitely churn out over the next 2-3 years as they milk another popular IP.
Bandai Namco ruin manga and Anime with their nonstop saturation of borrowed IP games, for example DB and Naruto.
This will be the last time I ever comment on a Bandai Namco game because this company is just exhausting and boring to no end.
