Video: Sonic Superstars launch trailer

It has been around 4 months since SEGA and Sonic Team officially announced a new 2D Sonic the Hedgehog game, Sonic Superstars. There has been lots of news since then, as well as multiple trailers. That said, it is now October 17th, which means the game is finally available for gamers to play.

To celebrate the occasion, SEGA has released a launch trailer for Sonic Superstars. You can now play the game on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. The official Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter account shared the trailer, which you can see down below.

  1. 20 minutes in so far. (Casino stage) I gotta say, it’s not worth the price tag.

I don’t know if tee lopes did the whole sound track, but some tunes are banging and others sound like sonic 4 duds. Bosses are just waiting for animations and there’s no incentive to find all the big rings as they cap the emeralds to one per zone.

    Mania did it all better.

Good sonic game, but probably worth waiting until it’s about £20

  2. Sorry if i sound like a hater, it’s not worth the price tag if someone wants to play it just wait for a sale, this one is better than frontiers but not as good as mania, Jun is a talented composer but as the sonic collection showed he doesn’t have the skills to compose for classic sonic.
