The 2023 holiday season may be coming to an end very soon, and the new year arrives in just a couple of days, but that hasn’t stopped the Switch 2 rumor mill from churning at a steady pace. In fact, a new Switch 2 rumor has recently appeared online that may be very interesting to fans of the Bayonetta games.

You see, leaker NWeedle has mentioned on Twitter that the Nintendo Switch‘s successor will be getting a Bayonetta Trilogy contained all 3 main titles. The trilogy will have visual and performance enhancements, including HDR. NWeedle also thinks that Nintendo will announce the Switch 2 before the end of March.

    1. It’s thinking like your’s that is the very reason Sony wastes more time re releasing the same games over and over again.

  1. As much as I love Bayonetta 1, 2, and 3… having the trilogy on Nintendo’s new generation system and presented in DLSS 4K in docked mode… it’s officially on my 2024 most wanted list!

  2. That’s a bold statement with zero evidence that it’s happening. Remember, every year there’s a Switch 2 rumor happening and then nothing.

  3. I have a better idea…give the Switch 2 Bayo 2, maybe even he first one, but leave 3 to rot in a shallow grave completely forgotten. We don’t need another reminder on how cancerous it was…

    1. If I were you, I would have to give Bayonetta 3 a second chance. Despite the limitations of the original Switch hardware, it will have major improvements of the framerate… especially when it targets 60fps or beyond that.

    1. The problem is that Hideki Kamiya had left PlatinumGames. We have no data on when PG and Nintendo were to make a fourth Bayonetta title.

        1. Nintendo doesn’t own PlatinumGames, so they don’t have much control or say in what they develop. What Nintendo does with their own IPs is different from what PlatinumGames does.
