A fan of the tragically abandoned Rayman franchise has been working on a project to recreate the first portion of the classic Rayman 3 using the latest version of the beautiful Unreal Engine, Unreal Engine 5. You can see the fruits of the Rayman fan’s labour in the impressive gameplay footage down below.

I recently got a GameCube copy of Rayman 3 from an online reseller; haven’t played yet but I’ve heard it’s really good (and the actor who played Luigi in the ’93 Super Mario Bros. movie voices Globox- that sounds hilarious). I wonder how much of an upgrade this fan remake is to the original.
