One thing that Nintendo has been doing for a long while now is releasing new profile pictures, backgrounds, and borders that Nintendo Switch Online members can get using gold coins that they can earn. These rewards are usually themed around various games, such as Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Strikers: Battle League and The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild.
It isn’t surprising at all, but Nintendo has decided to celebrate the release of Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD on the Nintendo Switch with some new icons based on the game. They’ll be available until July 24th, and icon elements will be refreshed each week. You can see the announcement tweet from Nintendo of America down below.
How much longer are they going to keep pushing Luigis mansion? If I didn’t want to play it the first time, why would I want to play it the next for or so times? “Oh, a horror game where you play as Mario’s sidekick and not Mario at all.” Why would anyone want that?
These games are actually fun. Don’t go into it expecting a horror game, they’re light quirky puzzle games.
