Red Art Games issued a statement on X and through email informing their customers about a data breach. The perpetrators are, as of now, unknown, but the company assures its customers that bank details were not compromised. However, first and last names, birth dates, email and shipping addresses, order details, and phone numbers were all exposed during the attack, and as such, affected customers are to be extremely cautious should they be contacted by someone asking for their personal information or bank details. All account holders are also advised to change their passwords as soon as possible, so as to avoid any further damage.
Red Art Games has published several games on Nintendo Switch and other consoles, and supplied them through its online store. Games like Have A Nice Death and Triggerheart Exelica were offered on the store, along with upcoming games such as Elrentaros Wanderings and the English version of Goblin Slayer -Another Adventurer- Nightmare Feast. Their website has been temporarily closed for security reasons, but they promise to have it back up soon. For the time being, however, all orders, shipments, and refunds have been put on hold.
