The father of PlayStation Ken Kutaragi revealed to a fan that he has his own Nintendo PlayStation prototype safely tucked away. The news was shared by Tokyo Retro Gamer reporter Julian Domanski via his X account. Domanski met up with Mr. Kutaragi and snapped some photos of the highly-sought-after device and believes that the last one sold at auction for around $300,000. Check out the photos in the post below.
I never thought I'd see something so rare, but today I actually got to fondle a Nintendo PlayStation!

The last one in existence was believed to have sold at auction for $300,000. Turns out the ex CEO of SonyCEA has one in his closet. Ken Kutaragi, top bloke. Signed my PS1 too! pic.twitter.com/EGRos3IVT8
