Nvidia CEO says Nintendo Switch 2 has the most advanced graphics ever in a mobile device

Nintendo has uploaded the latest Creator’s Voice video and this time it features Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. Mr. Huang talks about the late Satoru Iwata‘s legacy when it came down to the innovation of the original Nintendo Switch console and how the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 pushes the boundaries of mobile technology stating that the Nintendo Switch 2 has the most advanced graphics ever in a mobile device.

      1. It’s a mobile device. The Snapdragon Elite APU is more powerful than what’s in the Switch 2. Dude’s lying, like always.

        1. The central processor in the APU you speak of is indeed more powerful. But the Nvidia T239 is FAR FAR FAR more powerful than any cellular or mobile device on the planet to date. (Not including laptops, but that isn’t a “mobile device”).

At 4K gaming, you can get away with a 4 core processor at old, lanky speeds, cache, and low bus. So, a redundant statement.

  1. I love the Nintendo Switch 2 price but not a fan of the most expensive things in the world. If Mr Iwata was alive now then he would have seen more smiles on our faces now and seen the Switch 2 launch. R.I.P Iwata!

      1. For all the hype, my cell phone cost the same amount and still has better capabilities. And I can still hook it up to a monitor with a controller, and squeeze 4k gaming out of it at 120fps. The only actual difference is that the Switch is a dedicated gaming platform, whereas to date, there is no real dedicated mobile gaming platform. -Fix that issue and Nintendo wouldn’t have a platform worth selling.

        1. Cell phone prices aren’t accurate they’re subsidized through your carrier through your payments

        2. If your ignorant about the nessessary hardware to run games at 4k 120hz, don’t speak as though you know what you’re talking about. 🤦‍♂️

  2. He also states in the interview that the SoC for Switch 2 was designed “differently” from all their recent chips, but he adds a strange thing: that it was designed for backward compatibility with the Switch… yet we know that a lot of games are not (yet) or are poorly compatible, so well…

      1. Yeap and they are down to accessories that have to use with the game that will not fit the switch 2

        1. The CEO is a clown, Nintendo is their circus. Blatant false information like saying the moon is made out of cheese. Not only does “mobile device” means it’s supposedly better than Samsung S24 but it’s not even the best mobile gaming console in terms of performance. Praying on Nintendo’s downfall 🙏🏿

    1. I’m obligated to include all options in the handheld mobile market. The fact that there are handheld PCS does not negate that it is a mobile device. And thus can be compared as such, irrespective of price or use.

  3. Shocker, the guy who claimed the 5070 is as powerful as a 4090 is now claiming an arm based SoC is the most powerful ever in a handheld. No qualifier of price point or segment, just most powerful. Once again, this guy’s full of it.

  4. No frame gen lmao equivalent of a 2050 on a handheld you don’t really own. One of the biggest cons I have ever seen just emulate on a Logitech g cloud or abxy android handheld for close to half the cost of a switch 2. If you don’t own it, then emulation\piracy isn’t theft.
