There’s a fresh new LEGO game coming to the Nintendo Switch and it’s titled LEGO Voyagers. The game is being developed by Annapurna Interactive and is billed as a relaxing two player adventure that looks visually impressive. It’s not clear if a Nintendo Switch 2 version is planned. This look’s decent, but i just want a new standard Lego game like Lego Marvell or Lego Jurassic Park. I like finding all the collectables, character tokens and getting 100% completion.
I agree. The games with these mechanics were made by Traveller’s Tales, and they were great. However, the last game they released was Lego Harry Potter Collection (a remaster) last year, apparently with the help of Double Eleven. There were rumors that they canceled many projects due to factors like crunch and other issues. According to reports, they canceled games like Lego Disney, Lego Guardians of the Galaxy, and others.
The founder of the company, Jon Burton, left and created 10:10 Games (the developer of Funko Fusion). So, because of all this, I think that unless Lego partners with another developer, Traveller’s Tales probably won’t release another new Lego game anytime soon. I hope I’m wrong.
