The rumours surrounding a September Nintendo Direct presentation are reaching fever pitch and SwitchForce believes that the event will be announced today by Nintendo. The leaker says that the actual Nintendo Direct will take place on Friday and that Nintendo will give 48 hours notice for the event. We shall have to wait and see whether this happens, so all eyes will be on Nintendo’s social media accounts.

“I’m anticipating the Direct is announced tomorrow, giving a 48 hour notice for Friday’s show”

  1. I’m getting really hyped right now, probably because I have no idea what to except.
There is no way there will be smash, no way there will be a Mario game. So I’m thinking there is gonna be something really exciting like a more niche IP, maybe even starfox or Fzero???? Oh wait, haven’t thought about Animal Crossing, 70% sure there is gonna be an animal crossing.

      1. You are right, I should have specified better, I think there is no way a mainline Mario game is gonna be showed, mainly because of the odissey team being occupied with bananza and that game released two months ago, as for a Mario spinoff like a sports game or an rpg, yeah I could see that coming.

  2. “Think” as if to say “if it’s not announced today, it’s not my fault, blame Nintendo! Until proven otherwise: there will be nothing, I am still but always skeptical, it would still be the 5th ND in…3 months….

    1. “Think” because plans can change. “Think” because people like you will jump on them if they get the slightest bit of information even slightly wrong. Anyway, they were right. It’s been announced.

  3. A part of me wants a new Direct because we need software for the Switch 2. The other part of me hopes nothing is announced so that the people who keep leaking shit are wrong and their credibility takes a hit.
