We learned earlier that Donkey Kong Bananza now has additional paid DLC in the form of DK Island & Emerald Rush, which is available now. To coincide with the DLC Nintendo has updated the game to Version 2.0.0 which increases Banandium Chips that can be stored from 9,999 to 99,999. General
- Added support for the paid DLC DK Island & Emerald Rush.
- If you have not cleared the main game yet, you can go to DK Island by talking to Squawks at the Racing Layer.
- If you have cleared the main game, you can go to DK Island by striking the Warp Gong after hearing about the “Bananza Rehearsal” from the Elder.
- After reaching DK Island, you can play Emerald Rush by talking to Void Kong.
- The number of Banandium Chips that can be stored has been increased from 9,999 to 99,999.
- Several other changes have been made and issues addressed to improve the gameplay experience.

Love this game!
$20 for DLC released one month after the game released. They should have been part of the base game. I love DK, but my $20 goes to Silksong.
From what I heard their are no fossils or bananas, the whole world is just eye candy fill with references, with the emerald run thing thrown in, save your $20 for some thing else if you like, because the dlc update is basically if the mushroom kingdom map from odyssey and Luigi balloon world was charge as $20 for original mario odyssey.
We loved the henna painting and traditional dress, they made for amazing photos and memories
