The Rayman Legends remake which has been in development at Ubisoft appears to be titled Rayman Legends Retold. The logo leaked online for what was once referred to as Project Steambot internally at Ubisoft. We know from information posted by video game journalist Tom Henderson that the remake of the game, which some may say doesn’t necessarily need the remake treatment, is in development along with a brand new Rayman adventure. The leaker says he has a “bunch more screenshots, skins & concept arts but i heard an announcement is near so i won’t post.”
Insider Gaming understands that the reveal of Rayman Legends: Retold, AKA Project Steambot, is expected within the next week and that the game is scheduled to release on October 1, 2026
Surpassing Persona 4 Revival for the title of “most pointless remake of all time”.
Persona 4 could actually benefit from a remake to get in line with P5 and P3R. Rayman Legends, however, has no excuse.
And we’ll never have a true Rayman 3D again, it seems.
I honestly would have prefered to see remakes of the first 2 games since those have barely been ported to any console, and then remake 4.
such a waste of resources and time. just do a simple remaster of Rayman Legends and spend all the energy on a new one
Hasn’t Legends been re made many times? I had on my Wii U, and also on Switch. Not sure I’d want to get it again for Switch 2. Would rather something new. Origins was awesome on Wii also!

Ubisoft wasting money again. These games sucked. We need a REAL Rayman game, not the Rabbids and not these lame Runners. Give us something like Rayman 1 or 2.
