Respected game developer Hidetaka Miyazaki has participated in an interview on the shareholder proposals surrounding Kadokawa. In the interview Mr. Miyazaki known for the Dark Souls franchise, Elden Ring, Bloodborne and the upcoming The Duskbloods has said to fans to look forward to both announced and unannounced titles from the company. This has naturally sparked discourse online as to whether a new Bloodborne game is in development. So far FromSoft has Elden Ring and The Duskbloods linedup for the Nintendo Switch 2.
“Finally, if our users happen to read this message, we want to assure you that we will continue to work harder than ever to create truly valuable games. We hope you will look forward to our upcoming titles, both those already announced and those yet to be announced.”

The one thing people should not expect is Bloodborne cuz that thing might as well not exist anymore.
You’re getting an animated movie for Bloodborne from a youtuber. I kind of hope Nintendo works with them for a Tenchu spiritual successor well maybe not them but their sister company Acquire who’s also now owned by Kadokawa.
Except it does and it’s still beloved by so many people 11 years later, now we have a movie being developed, and Miyazaki has said it’s a special game to him. It’s not out of the question.
Like what? There was a rumor years ago was Xbox was paying them for a sci-if soulslike. Otogi needs remakes and a 3. Other things they should do is adapt Guin Saga into a game, work with Hideyuki Kikuchi on a game, and work with Yoshiki Tanaka on a game too. These make more sense than working with Martin which I heard was difficult.
