    1. that is a very big jump to make. though i get its exciting, i’d wait for actual proof that gta 6 can run on the switch bfore saying so. i do think the switch 2 has a decent chance of running it though.

    2. I have no understanding of tech so please help me understand how this proves GTAVI would run on the Switch 2?
They both must run on the same engine then, right? Or have a similar balance of GPU / CPU usage that would fit to what the Switch 2 is capable of yes? I really have no clue so you have to help me. You‘re saying both are open world games, right?

      1. GTA VI is being made in rockstar’s own engine I believe. And, I think Capcom is using RE engine. Onimusha, from what I’ve played in the demo, is a closed linear experience with a few branching paths here and there. Kind of similar to RE 9. So it’s kind of like comparing apples to oranges, when you say it is similar to GTA. A better comparison would probably be monster hunter wilds, which I think is also getting a switch 2 port, and is an open world RE engine game. But even then, I’d say GTA VI probably has a lot more CPU heavy calculations to make because of NPC density and all the different objects that can load in the open world. Not saying it’s impossible, but it would take a lot of work. Even Cyberpunk 2077, tends to chug on Switch 2 as far as frame rates are concerned.
