Crazy Taxi World Tour gets new trailer

Crazy Taxi World Tour looks set to deliver a fast-paced and comedic experience as you travel around the west coast picking up zany characters and cruising the streets and taking in the sumptuous views. SEGA recently announced a closed network test, but it won’t be available on the Nintendo Switch 2, but if you have other formats you can register for that. For now check out the new trailer down below.

  1. It would be funny if there was a hard mode called “driving under the influence” where your controls randomly get flipped and your screen gets more blurry.

    1. SEGA PR says earlier last month that they used genAI for working on this game and only being used for a reference point so a human would view the designs and then create the actual thing for a open world experience.

  2. The new trailer really captures what made Crazy Taxi so memorable: speed, chaos, ridiculous passengers, and that arcade-first feeling. I’m glad SEGA seems to be leaning into the series’ personality instead of turning it into a generic driving game. The West Coast setting looks especially fun, and I’m curious to see how the multiplayer holds up. It’s a pretty different kind of journey from something like a jubail umrah bus servicee, but both show how much the right setting can shape a travel experience.
