Team Ninja’s hard work has paid off on Metroid: Other M with Metroid co-creator Yoshio Sakamoto stating that he couldn’t imagine a sequel to Other M being made without another collaboration with the Japanese development studio.
“As far as my opinion is concerned if we are going to make something similar to Metroid Other M in the future I cannot think that it would be possible for Nintendo to make it without collaborating with Team Ninja. After all they are that good a partner to us and we are pretty valuable to them as well.”

Sweet that sounds great. The collobo w/Team Ninja has really beefed up Metroid. I’m excited to see what else Nintendo and Team Ninja will do in the near future.

Yeah, I kinda wonder if they even PLAYED it. After watching their review, I was kind of scared that Other M was going to kinda suck. Now that I’ve played it, I don’t think they really knew what they were talking about…..Sure, there are a couple of nitpicks, such as the Gravity suit being a mere glow, but it’s really not THAT big of a deal. If I remember correctly, they made it a glow because actually changing Samus’ color, permanently I might add, made Samus kind of blend in with the background.
Ahh I want another Retro Studios metroid game and metroid dread.
They will need Team Ninja, since Nintendo fails at doing Metroid themselves anymore.
Maybe they can make metroid dread for the 3ds with team ninja wounder how that would turn out
a sequel would be great. :) other m is so f***ing great!! :)
If team ninja is essential to making an Other M sequel, then don’t make one. The game, at best, is a 6 out of 10.
Samas is a bounty hunter with a wide array of weapons at her disposal, she doesn’t need to be doing cheap WWE moves.
Did you even play the game? Other M I the best Metroid game since the original NES title. Easily a 9.5/10.
