Nintendo 3DS: UK Retailer Listing Nintendo 3DS For £194.99 With March 18th Release Date

Online retailer GameGears has started pre-orders for the Nintendo 3DS ahead of the 3DS press event on January 19th.

The online retailer is charging £194.99 for the device which it says will be available for purchase in three different colours and will be released on March 18th 2011.

Nintendo 3DS: Nintendo Say That Children Should Turn Off 3D Effects On Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo has issued a warning to parents of children under six years of age suggesting that if they plan to purchase a 3DS for their child then they should consider turning off the 3D function using the slider that’s attached to the device.

Vision in children under six is still in a developmental stage and the delivery of 3D images “has a potential impact on the growth of children’s eyes.”

Nintendo 3DS: Nintendo World Set To Showcase Kid Icarus, Zelda And More Playable Games

This years Nintendo World is set to become one of the best shows yet as Nintendo prepares to dazzle spectators with a whole host of Nintendo 3DS games on January 8th.

A large number of the launch titles will be playable so the Japanese public will get to go hands on with games such as Kid Icarus: Uprising and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS. Here’s the full list of titles being showcased at the event:

Nintendo 3DS: Zelda Ocarina Of Time To Be Bundled With Nintendo 3DS?

Whilst this should be noted as a rumour Cubed3 are reporting that a Gamestop employee has informed customers that the Nintendo 3DS will come bundled with ‘some sort of Zelda title’.

Either this is simply a case of misunderstanding or Nintendo are planning to bundle the console with Zelda: Ocarina of Time. We will know for sure when Nintendo confirm 3DS launch details on Wednesday January 19th.

Nintendo DS: Pokémon Black & White Given Official US Release Date

Nintendo of America have finally decided to reveal the official release date of the eagerly awaited Pokémon Black & White.

According to the press release the next iteration of the popular Pokémon franchise will be released in the United States on March 6th 2011 and will introduce more than 150 new Pokémon and an entire new region for players to explore.

Nintendo Wii: Wii Fit Has Officially Outsold All Celebrity Fitness DVD’s

Nintendo’s UK marketing manager Rob Lowe has told online gaming publication MCV that Wii Fit has officially outsold the numerous celebrity fitness DVD’s out there.

“Wii Fit is already bigger than any fitness DVD out there. Wii Fit has sold over 3m units, while Wii Fit Plus has sold more than 1.4m according to Chart-Track.”

Nintendo Wii: Zelda Skyward Sword Is Around 50% Complete Says Miyamoto

Shigeru Miyamoto has confessed that the highly anticipated Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is around 50% complete and is packed full with content that fans will want to experience over and over again.

“What we are focused on is creating gameplay mechancis so the gameplay experience feels very dense. In fact, the overall experience is going to feel more dense. We hope that people will want to go back and replay the game once they finish it.”
