    1. No, it was’t half way done a few months ago. You need to learn how to analyze information and check sources. The article in which Miyamoto said the game was “over half complete” was an old interview that was published late. The same interview had Miyamoto speaking on Mario Kart 3DS as if it had not yet been announced, even though it had been revealed months before the article was printed.

Who said it? When was it said? Why was it said? What was intended? Was there an error in translation? Can what was said be understood in more than one way? Ask questions, or you won’t get many answers.

    1. This is what happens when you invest too much import into the speculation of fan-sites and people who don’t know how to check their sources. Nintendo did NOT say recently that the game was “over half completed” even though that’s what everyone on the internet seems to believe. That information came from an article that was printed long after the interview for said article was conducted (i.e. months before E3 even happened). Old information in a new article.

  2. huh looks good but I heard them say that this game has better graphics than Monster Hunter Tri…
who are they fooling everything looks cell shaded
regardless i’m glad to hear that it is near completion :)

    1. Because cel-shaded automatically means garbage graphics, right?

The colors look vibrant and alive. It contains a different artistic style than Monster Hunter Tri and there’s nothing wrong with that. People looked down on Wind Waker for the cel-shaded graphics, too. I know many friends who did that when they first heard of the game. Down the road, every single one regretted judging before playing and some of them even claim Wind Waker to be the best Zelda in the series. Love those “I told you so” moments.

As long as the gameplay and story are solid, how it looks artistically won’t matter.

      1. I had friends who refused to play Wind Waker due to the cartoony graphics as well. I could never understand such small-mindedness. When I saw the first trailer for WW I almost peed myself (not literally) from sheer delight. And the game did not disappoint. Definitely one of the best Zeldas.

  3. I pre-odered it before December, along with Pokémon black(already paid) and mortal kombat 9(later transformed it to kollectors) and before year end 3DS. I have no problems with cel shaded.

  4. Awww man. That means we’re getting it sometime after E3 :( I was expecting a lot of good games from nintendo during spring, but now there’s just the slightly pathetic 3DS titles and Pokemon. Oh well, just means that the summer will be a blast.

    1. And likely the rupees in the actual game (as opposed to a demo of the unfinished game) won’t be that big. And if they are, oh well.
