Kokuga Gets Western Release On Nintendo 3DS

Kokuga has been officially announced for the Nintendo 3DS and it’s even got its own snazzy English website. Those familiar with this title will be glad to hear that it’s coming straight over from Japan – where it was released last September – and will challenge you to focus on your marksmanship skills as you use your fixed set of 20 attack and support cards strategically to maximise your score.

For those players who love an extra challenge, there are four different difficulty modes to choose from in Kokuga. It also supports local and download play for multiplayer matches, giving you that extra incentive to go the extra mile within the game. The shoot’em up title will be available at some point in late June or July in North and South America, as well as Europe and Australia. Check out the trailer above to get a feel for Kokuga.

  1. Soooo,
Is this kinda like tower defense?
    If so, I’ll try it.
If you like tower defense games, there’s another great one that came out close to the 3DS launch… Starship (something)
    I loved it.

    1. So… Watched the video.
      Definity NOT tower defense.
More… Contra-ish? Hell, IDK, but I like it!
If it’s priced fair, I’ll buy it.

  2. 3DS is so Mega owning the eighth generation it’s getting games from Japan that would have never made it to the Americas.
