Today’s Smash Bros Direct has revealed the new Master Ball item will allow players to summon various Pokemon onto the field. As always, Master Balls should only be used in the rarest of circumstances within the Pokemon games. So it stands to reason that the Master Ball will only allow you to summon rare and legendary Pokemon, with Arceus highlighted in the Direct.

There’s too many Pokemon (and Pokemon references) in this game. But it’s understandable, since Pokemon is such a money making franchise. I’m surprised Nintendo doesn’t make a game like Smash Bros. with nothing BUT Pokemon in it. There’s definitely enough Pokemon for a game like that.
