Club Nintendo Members Selling Flipnote Studio 3D Codes On eBay

Flipnote Studio may be a free application for the Nintendo 3DS in the United States but that hasn’t stopped some Club Nintendo members from selling the code on popular online auction site eBay. Admittedly the codes aren’t going for astronomical prices, but some are listed at around $20. Be sure to access the “to-do list” on the Club Nintendo website to get your free download code.

Thanks, Adaobi E

  1. Yeah I have a code too, but my Nintendo network account is from Mexico, so… I can’t download flipnote studio.

    Thanks, Nintendo.

It’s no surprise that other guys are selling the codes.

    Welp…

  2. *Facepalm*
To those selling-GO GET YOURSELVES A JOB, INSTEAD OF TRYING TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK.
To those that bought it-Flipnote will most likely end up on the EShop after Club Nintendo ends, so you should have been patient with it and waited…
This reminds me of the Smash Bros 3DS demo. People sold it for a lot of money, but then those that bought it, felt like complete idiots when the Demo ended up on the EShop 2 Weeks later…

    1. Who cares what they do with it? It’s their code and if people want to buy it, so be it. The Smash 3DS demo sold because people wanted to play it right then instead of waiting 2 weeks for it to be free. It’s simple supply and demand.
Also, lol @ “get a job, don’t make a quick buck”, as if those two are mutually exclusive, as if it’s wrong to try to make extra money on the side apart from your job, as if it’s wrong to sell something you own for money. You’re an idiot.

  3. Nintendo Lieutenant Cereza

Half the time I go to Club Nintendo, the web site is down. I hate having to wake up at 4 in the morning in order to get any of my rewards.

    1. That’s because their network weak and servers can’t handle a little spike. It’s horribly annoying. They’ll never get hacked because a hacker could never get in.

I feel sorry for any idiots that buy these codes. I hope eBay lets people leave comments so the good samaritans can let potential buyers know they can easily get these codes for free if they just sign up for Club Nintendo on the website. It might be shutting down soon but you can still sign up for it for the time being.

  5. If it does end up in eShop it will not be free that’s why it’s best to get it now or join Club Nintendo before it closes.

But I don’t think it will cost $20 on eShop.

  6. Off topic, and I’m sorry, but does anybody here know if you’ll get the Flipnote “to-do” doohickey if you signed up on Club Nintendo AFTER Feb. 10th?
