We’ve just heard that Tantalus, the developer tasked with porting over Mass Effect 3 and Deus Ex, to the Wii U is bringing another AAA title to the Wii U, but we’ve also learned that they are porting across a Wii U title to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. It’s anyones guess as to what that title could be, but a safe bet would possibly be ZombiU. This is pure speculation and it could be another title entirely, though I’m not sure which one.

Please remember that there parent company made Funky Barn on Wii U, so I think an even safer bet will be Funky Barn. It would be faster and cheaper to port than ZombiU would be, and it seems like Ubisoft has abandoned all hope for the IP.

But the thing is, have you ever heard of anyone using Smartglass or Remote Play?
Yes. Quite a number, actually. Is it most owners? No. Still, quite a few.
Not much to add in the feature though, also a lot of users tend to use Smartglass as a way of using their tablet as a remote and almost zero use it for games.
PS4 owners who own a Vita just use the Vita to play their PS4 games on the shitter or that their friends house, barely using it as a controller.
So really, it wouldn’t make sense to add the feature in the game if barely anyone is using them for gameplay mechanics.
Based on the fact you even had to ask if anyone uses those things. I’m going to take a wild stab in the dark, and assume you probably aren’t the best person to be speaking for entire user bases.

It would be a port. Porting is just referencing the technical work to put an already developed game on another platform. It could still be a port with a slightly different name.
That said, I doubt it’s ZombiU.
FF6 was an amazing game though i recently played through all of it but then watched the final dungeon. couldn’t beat it since it was too hard for me XD

Damnit nintendonews, I saw the zombiu art before the title apeared and had a fuckin heart attack XD. I’d actually be up for them porting it, I think like rayman it’ll lose alot of other consoles but if it brings the possibilty of the series continuing i’m for it.

Well they did it with rayman and quite frankly the gamepad was integral to that as well. so I would’nt put it pas them, only reason I have to disabelieve this is that 99% of the time Ubisoft hate takin risks and have possibly already forgotten this game exists.

Nintendo doesn’t technically own the Bayonetta brand with Platinum and Sega so maybe it’s Bayonetta 2 if Nintendo let them. Whatever Nintendo was the reason it got as it is and these guys are bringing a supposedly big game to Wii U
Bayonetta 2 as a game has all of its publishing rights belonging to Nintendo. It is not up to Sega or platinum to decide if it gets ported. Only Nintendo
