Elliot Quest from PlayEveryWare is set to launch on March 19th in the Nintendo eShop for Wii U for $12.99. Inspired by Zelda II: The Adventure of Link and Mega Man, Elliot Quest is an 8-bit adventure game where the victim of a rare curse must find a cure before he’s transformed into a demon. Set in an open world, it includes five dungeons and 16 bosses. Players can also find ways to unlock multiple endings.
Zelda 2-Inspired Elliot Quest Launches On Wii U Next Week

Interesting concept. This is my first time hearing about it, but the fact that is an open world, sixteen boss, multiple ending game makes me feel this might very well be worth 13 bucks. The inspiration is also nice of course.

Seems like indie games is the majority of all that the Wii U has to offer. Can’t wait until Zelda for Wii U. And Star Fox? I’m not sure what to think about that one? I’m not sure if I’m still a fan or not?

i hope that this is Not being made into a movie!!!
I’m getting this game definitely but I’m getting tired of 2D games. The Wii U doesn’t have many 3D open world games, we get always the same kind of game, only different story.
Exactly! 2D platformers are good, but it seems like that’s all the Wii U has. The only open world games the Wii U has received are Lego City Undercover, Pikmin 3, W101, Bayonetta, SM3DW, and I suppose Zombie U (didn’t play it) and those last 3 are on rails. I know it’s easy to make 2D games, but when you have a 100+ on the eshop and very little of anything else things get dry. We need more games like LoZ, Fantasy Life, even KI and Bravely Default, as at least those aren’t 2D platformers.
at this point i’m really beginning to wonder. where are the games they promised us in 2015? i know end of year is march for the japs but this is insane. the worst dry spell since launch. nintendo needs to pull their heads out of their asses. i thought unifying the two Nintendo buildings and teams would help. but no, the fucking mariokart dlc still isn’t out. WTF?!!?
Three months into 2015 and you’re wondering when what is? Also dry spell? Worst since launch? Kirby and the Rainbow Curse released a couple of weeks ago, Captain Toad and NES pack released in December, Smash in November, Hyrule Warriors in September, and Splatoon releases in May. Not a tidal wave of games yeah, but it sure as hell ain’t no drought.
captain toad i beat in one night. not interested in the kirby touchscreen (ipad) game, but would kill for a real kirby. Smash I would play more if i knew anyone with a goddam wiiU. Hyrule W. i beat in two days (inc. DLC). NES pack?! haven’t i played that shit before? so yes, just like last year, dry spell until mariokart was released. and where the &*^*&^&* is my second dlc pack. holy shit! why are we getting bobble head Fantasy Life and Animal Crossing Pokemon remake 3DS bullshit instead of awesome new IP? and don’t give a speech about codename STEAM. i’m canadian, do you think i give a shit about abraham lincoln. why pander to the yanks? wtf?!?!?!
LOL idiot.
