The direct sequel to the original The Legend of Zelda is famed for taking the series in a new direction, while also introducing elements that would become standard in future Zelda games. In Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, Link must seek the Triforce of Courage and awaken Princess Zelda from a sleeping spell. Meanwhile, Ganon’s minions are trying to resurrect their master. Zelda II uses a side-scrolling view and overworld map, and features role-playing aspects that are unique to the series. The game will set you back £4.50 in the United Kingdom.

This game was hard as fuck, in some areas
Some areas? try all.
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but Is this 3DS or Wii eShop?
Nintendo 3DS eShop.
No such thing as wii eshop
Game is already available on Wii, but it’s the Wii Shop Channel. The eShop will be used with the Wii U
Zelda II has been available on the Wii shop for years. I wish Nintendo would cut us a discount if we already have it purchased on the Wii… since the accounts are easy to link via Club Nintendo even a dollar off the 3DS version would be welcome.
Where my Ambassadors at?!
They need better virtual console games like megaman 2 or ninja gaiden.
Ninja Gaiden is coming. Not sure when, though, but I saw the eShop trailer.
Had it for close to a year now thanks to my Ambassador status, but it’s nice to be able to share with everyone! This game gets a very undue amount of disrespect, usually aimed at the things that make it so uniquely fun among the franchise’s games. Play it yourself and experience the fun fighting system, uniquely RPGesque leveling elements, and difficulty that deliciously sears like Habanero peppers!
Really? I don’t have it and I’m an Ambassador as well… was that a US only thing? o_O
oh wait, nope, I take that back, I do have it and I didn’t realise…
Agreed, this really is a fantastic game. It doesn’t get a lot of credit because it was so different (and so hard) but it’s got so much nostalgia value for me =)

One of many secret projects Nintendo has been working on!!! Buy it now, because it’s soooo worth the price tag!
Any guesses to what we’ll get in North America instead? A farm simulator? Another word puzzle or sudoku game? At this rate even just something practical like an updated 3D version of Photo Clock would make me happy.
NA Said Q4, so really could be anytime between Oct-Dec.
Dude, I agree, all the DSiWare should come with an enhanced 3DS mode for 3DS owners, even if all it does is reformat the image to fit the wider 3DS screen. Photo Dojo in 3D could kick a**!
Hooray! I actually liked this one despite its difficulty. I welcome save points =) Bring it on.

I got this game on my ambassador 3ds. I found one of the tri force but am stuck. I can’t believe I forget about this game. A this game you call SHIT HARD!!!! But I love it. :D :D
Get N or get OUT!!!
There’s a really good ‘Let’s Play’ on YouTube that might help you out. I actually still have my old strategy guide for this one from the early 1990s. It’s a tricky one for sure.
really????? i played that game when I was 13 and find it easy…. don’t remember i struggle to finish that game. £4.50 I found that really expensive to be honest 99p would have been a better price tag. no wondering why people get the roms and play on PC, or other console via soft mod.
i agree i beat it without issue when i was a child.
Hardest Zelda ever :/
But loads of fun when you get over the frustration.
Agreed. It’s brutal, but worth it. I respect that some folks really don’t like it, but those of us who do like it seem to really like it. Definitely a hit or miss title, but if you’re new to it it’s definitely worth 4 or 5 bucks.
All I see are the words “Try me.” all over this news article.
I particular laughed at the.”famed for taking the series in a new direction” part. Yeah, a “special direction” at that. >_>
