We already know that we have the wonderfully adorable Yarn Yoshi amiibo (and normal Yoshi amiibo), which will allow you to play with double Yoshi in game for Yoshi’s Woolly World. Now, thanks to Australian packaging of the game– which recently moved up release dates– we can see that other amiibo will be compatible with the game! Using Mario, Luigi, Peach and other amiibo will allow you to unlock Yoshis based on the character of the amiibo. Yoshi with a Mario hat and red and blue design? Pink Yoshi with blonde hair? Sounds brilliant. Which amiibo would you like to make a Yoshi out of? We’ll have to wait and see which other amiibo are compatible when the game releases on June 26th for Europe, and later in the year for everywhere else.

For a second there I thought yarn yoshi was a game lol maybe if it said support more amiibo than just yarn Yoshi
Not really too fond of amiibo exclusive content. At least its fairy trivial. But it still creates a sense of unfulfillment, needing to purchase those additional figurines just to enjoy the full range of content that the game is supposed to offer. It’s all about the money…
