US: Nintendo Direct March 3rd 2016 Roundup

In a new Nintendo Direct video, Nintendo revealed new games on the way for its Wii U and Nintendo 3DS systems, as well as additional details about previously announced titles. From new games in the Kirby and Paper Mario franchises to a companion game for Star Fox Zero, this is one video that can’t be missed.

Wii U

  • Star Fox Zero: Fox McCloud returns in an action-packed new adventure. Multiple paths branch out to give players plenty of places to explore, and each route gives them a completely different experience, with each battle posing its own set of unique challenges. Players will notice their skills get better and better over time, as they become top-notch pilots. In two-player mode, one player can fly the Arwing while the other player aims and shoots. The game launches April 22. The packaged version comes with a Star Fox Guardgame disc at a suggested retail price of $59.99 while the digital version of the game can be purchased by itself from Nintendo eShop for $49.99.
  • Star Fox Guard: Players set up 12 cameras to find and defeat enemies who are attacking the mining site of Slippy Toad’s uncle, Grippy Toad. The game includes about 100 stages, but players can also create their own stages by editing the placement of enemies and uploading their levels online. The only way to get the physical version of Star Fox Guard is by purchasing the packaged version of Star Fox Zero. The game can also be purchased by itself from Nintendo eShop for $14.99. Customers that purchase the digital version of either Star Fox Zero or Star Fox Guard will receive a $4.99 Nintendo eShop discount toward the other game.
  • Paper Mario: Color Splash: Prism Island is being drained of its color and it’s up to Paper Mario to stop it! Use Paper Mario’s paint hammer to splash paint on anything it hits and bring the color back to the island in this new action-adventure game. The game will launch later in 2016.
  • Super Mario Maker: More than 6.2 million courses from players around the world are available for others to play, and now a free March 9 update will add a Super Expert mode to the 100-Mario Challenge. The mode is unlocked after players clear Expert mode. Super Expert Mode dishes out six extremely tough courses. Additionally, 12 new Mystery Mushroom costumes have been added to 100 Mario Challenge. The update also provides level creators with even more tools:
    • Shake a P Switch to turn it into a key. Shake a Door to turn it into a Key Door. Creators can make enemies hold keys, meaning players can’t advance without defeating mandatory bosses.
    • Shake a Coin to turn it into a Pink Coin. Players must collect them all to make a key appear.
    • Shake a Thwomp to turn it into a massive Skewer column from Super Mario World.
    • Additionally, the Super Mario Maker Bookmark site will see additions such as ranking categories for world records and the number of first clears on courses, inspiring new ways to experience the main game.
  • Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games: The Wii U version of the game launches on June 24 and includes two events new to the series: Rugby Sevens and Rhythmic Gymnastics Clubs. Every event in the game takes place in locales modeled after the actual venues in Rio.
  • Splatoon: The hit multiplayer game is getting more updates. An update on March 8 balances some gear abilities to improve some of the lesser-used ones and make them more appealing. Additional tweaks to matchmaking, Ranked Battles and Splatfests aim to improve the overall user experience. Another update arrives in two waves, with the first coming in April. It will adjust some existing weapons and add new weapon set recommendations as “Sheldon’s Picks.”
  • Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE: Slay monsters—and slay like a pop star—all at the same time, in this brand-new RPG from acclaimed developer Atlus. A sinister force from another dimension has invaded modern-day Tokyo, resulting in a fantastical barrage of style, fashion, music and, of course, danger. So play to your strengths in high-energy turn-based battles, then fuse items to craft powerful weapons and crush your foes. Around every corner you’ll find fan-service—including Fire Emblem references—original songs by Japanese entertainment giant Avex, dungeons themed after the entertainment industry and eye-catching music performances. The one-of-a-kind game launches June 24.
  • LOST REAVERS: BANDAI NAMCO’s latest free-to-play online co-op action game asks players to team up with other adventurers online to fight zombies and solve puzzles as they search for valuable treasure. As players complete missions, characters will level up, unlock additional skills and increase their in-game funds to acquire new weapons. An open beta version is launching April 14 with the full version coming to Wii U on April 28.

Nintendo 3DS

  • Kirby: Planet Robobot: Invaders have mechanized Dream Land. To restore his home to its original form, Kirby must use their technology against them with the new Robobot Armor. The Robobot Armor can even destroy a variety of obstacles in his way. The Team Kirby Clash mode lets up to four players join forces to battle against powerful bosses. Players select one of four roles, and participate in a co-op quest to defeat a boss while supporting their team. Completing a quest earns experience points to level-up and grow more powerful. The game is compatible with a large variety of amiibo figures, and some give Kirby character-specific abilities. A new series of Kirby amiibo figures that includes Kirby, King Dedede, Meta Knight and Waddle Dee gives Kirby attributes specific to each character. Tapping the Kirby figure is the only way to get the UFO ability. The game and new amiibo figures launch June 10.
  • Metroid Prime: Federation Force: This next chapter in the Metroid Prime series is a first-person adventure fused with puzzle solving, focused on shooting and co-op gameplay. Players take on missions that tell the story of the battle between the Galactic Federation’s elite Federation Force unit and the Space Pirates. Each player must select and carry specific sub-weapons based on their preferred roles, then proceed to complete each mission. The game will launch in late spring.
  • Rhythm Heaven Megamix: The game offers more than 100 rhythm games, 30 of which are new to the series. An additional 70 have been selected from previous games in the series, including the original Game Boy Advance title, which was never released in North America. The game launches later this year.
  • Monster Hunter Generations: The newest installment in the popular Monster Hunter action RPG series from Capcom is making its way to the West. The game will feature a special collaboration armor set based on Marth from the Fire Emblem series. Anyone who plays Monster Hunter Generations on Nintendo 3DS with Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate save data present on it will receive bonus content in the new game. • Hyrule Warriors Legends: The game launches March 25, at which point players can buy a season pass to get access to four DLC packs and a bonus costume for Ganondorf. These packs will also be available for purchase individually in Nintendo eShop during the next few months. A transfer code will allow purchasers who also own Hyrule Warriors for Wii U to use Ganondorf’s Trident weapon and play as the five new characters from Hyrule Warriors Legends in the Wii U game. Medli from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker will be available as a free download when the first DLC pack is released.
  • Bravely Second: End Layer: A free demo of the game hits Nintendo eShop on March 10. Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked members will receive a unique 16-digit code to access the demo early on March 7. Playing the demo will earn play bonuses that players can transfer into the full version of the game when it launches on April 15.
  • Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past: Travel to the past to save the present in this classic Dragon Quest adventure that has been completely remade from the ground up for Nintendo 3DS. The world has been rebuilt, the characters have new 3D models and the story has been completely re-localized. Even customize your party with over 30 classes and rank up in turn-based battles to learn new spells and abilities. The game launches later in 2016.
  • Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation: This third path in the story reveals many secrets not available in the Birthright or Conquest versions. On March 10, players can purchase Revelation for $19.99. Once purchased, a third option will appear at the Branch of Fate moment of the game: “Refuse to Choose a Side.” Today two new maps (Museum Melee and Ghostly Gold) are being released for purchase in the Dragon’s Gate in-game DLC shop, with Royal Royale launching on March 17. After March 17, additional maps will be released on a weekly basis through April 21.

In the meantime, the original Azure Striker Gunvolt game is available for $9.99, now through June 1.
  • Pocket Card Jockey: Solitaire meets horse racing – really! Game Freak’s new mashup puts players in the saddle as a jockey who must complete a fast-paced, simplified version of solitaire to propel the horse through intense races. It’s all about leveling up the horse through strategic positioning and placement on the track. Over time, players can win trophies for high-ranking races to secure sponsors. The game launches in May.

amiibo

  • Mini Mario and Friends amiibo Challenge: This free game can be found in Nintendo eShop on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Tap an amiibo figure on the Wii U GamePad controller or New Nintendo 3DS system (or to a Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL or Nintendo 2DS system using the Nintendo 3DS NFC Reader/Writer accessory) to guide one of 11 minis across more than 60 levels. Players can tap any compatible amiibo figure. Or, by tapping specific amiibo figures, players can guide minis that have exclusive level sets or their own unique abilities, like mini Mario’s wall jump or mini Yoshi, who can eat enemies. Starting March 25, the game will be available at select retailers as a bonus download code with the purchase of any Nintendo amiibo figure. It will also be available to download for free from Nintendo eShop on April 28.
  • Isabelle amiibo Figure: In June, Isabelle will be available separate from the Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival bundle, in her winter outfit. A new Isabelle figure featuring her summer outfit is also coming. Both figures launch on June 10.
  • amiibo Cards: Series 4 of the Animal Crossing amiibo cards launch on June 10.

    1. I think you mean: “Meh”
Firstly, I love that Splatoon is getting a last push, but I can see they are purposely holding back on adding any real content because they want to save creations and ideas for Spla2n.

Star Fox was cool, graphics are NOT a concern, but my highest concern is no online play (which should be everyones REAL concern).

Paper Mario was a surprise, it has the potential to be great, the setting sorta has a thousand year door vibe… but if those battle mechanics stay as they are or mock StickStar’s mechanics in an any way… the game could be ruined, (Not sure why Nin would do that when it was the main complaint with SS. I hope they aren’t that stupid).

Kirby was whatevz, I’m not really into Kirby games. Not to mention no one asked for another Kirby game.

Fed Force was… meh. Gameplay seemed okay. It’s art style is still weird and it better not effect any REAL Metroid games. It still a game nobody was asking for… at least not like that.

Monster Hunter is looking great as always.

Im glad amiibos didn’t freakin’ overhaul the direct this time, though the new ones coming are cool. Why is only Isabell getting a box, what about Digby?

But yeah, it was a “meh” Direct. The neglection of any Zelda info impacted the quality… I mean comon, At least a name! And this direct potentially implies that we won’t get a real Animal Crossing, Metroid, F Zero, Pokemon and other games we actually asked for on WiiU.

      1. Everyone says no one ask for that game but plenty of people have voiced their opinion on Nintendo needing online multiplayer games. They make one and some people complain.

          1. They aren’t true, hardcore Metroid fans like us. They don’t care about respecting the franchise. Nintendo could strip Metroid of everything that makes it Metroid & turn it into a Mario game & they would be like “But it’s fun!”

If they want to support this abomination of a Metroid game, I demand we get a Super Mario game rated M for Mature where we get to have Mario kill enemies with an AK-47, gets to hijack other people’s karts by beating them down or killing them, and gets to see Peach completely naked and have sex with her in a graphic sex scene. I also want a Legend of Zelda game made into a game similar to The Witcher III: Wild Hunt were Link can brutally kill monsters & other humanoids alike as he mutilates them. I also want to have Link have sex scenes with each main female character throughout his adventure in each temple after he’s defeated the boss. At the end of the game, he gets to have a threesome with Zelda & Malon. Fuck it if it’s not what those franchises are about because least the games will be fun, right? Right, guys!? *right eye twitch*

      1. I don’t think empty and boring was ever the main complaint. IMO the main complaint was that the game is too similar to Star Fox 64. They remade that game on the 3ds not too long ago, and I honestly just played it about 6 months ago. I really don’t want to play another Star Fox 64 reboot. I wanted something fresh and new.

But to be fair it doesn’t look horrible and I will buy it if only to support Miyamoto.

                1. You do have low standards, play the first 2 paper mario games, please. I am not saying you can’t like what is after the first 2 but they aren’t paper mario, neither is what they showed today.

“Also, for the people saying that Star Fox looked empty and boring, what now?”

Yeah….what now? It still does not look impressive by any means, I love starfox and I still have some hope for this but it is looking like a pretty barren game even with the branching paths. Starfox guard looks cool so hopefully that is a lot of fun.

                  1. I’ve 100’d all the paper mario games buddy. I know what they’re about. XD I’m just saying we don’t know how the battle system works yet. For all we know, it wont be one time use.

And that’s your opinion if it doesn’t, but everybody is changing their opinion on it now if you go by the trailer comments.

                  2. The art style, basic story, starting a battle by flipping a card, painting, has shown us way more than enough for us to gather this is not paper mario 1&2. Please do not whiteknight, you can like what they are now calling paper mario but do not claim it is like thousand year old door when they have abandoned what the series was about.

                    1. Super Paper Mario and Sticker Star sold more than the first two games in the series. Complain as much as you like about the change in the formula, but know that you’re the minority. Most people aware of Paper Mario’s existence think of SPM and not of TTYD.

                  3. “they aren’t paper mario”
When you only have two similar games in a five-game-series, you have to start wondering if there’s such a thing as a ‘regular Paper Mario game’ at all. It’s not at the same level as Chibi Robo on the identity crisis department, but it’s getting there.

                    1. It is not what the series originally was, and yes I am aware that sticker star did well, a lot of dogshit does well. As far as nintendo fans that played the first 2 goes I am not in the minority, the issue stems from little kids not understanding why people are hating on paper mario, which to them is not an amazing rpg with memorable characters, great battle system, incredible music and atmosphere/settings.
It is a simple action adventure series with some light rpg elements and colorful visuals. While not horrible games they are not what paper mario was about at all, when they see the hate they don’t get it. Someone would have to either hate rpgs or not have played the first 2 games to think what they have tranformed the IP into is good, saying this for other games would be ridiculous as everyone has their own opinions but not for paper mario, it is THAT good. If metroid prime federation force became the normal trend for metroid games and every game just completely got away from the original they may not be bad games but they would really represent what metroid was/is, and eventually the gap between games would grow big enough that kids are introduced to the butchered IP not understanding why people don’t like chibi halo.

                      1. That’s better worded.
The money of those millions of kids has the same value as your own. What you CAN do, however, is support the franchise the way you can. Get Paper Mario on the eShop. Send an email to Nintendo asking for more TTYD WITHOUT BASHING COLOR SMASH (believe me, this is important. Hell, make unofficial Paper Mario merch while you’re at it.

                      2. Negative feedback is feedback, in fact it usually garners much more attention and lets them know your opinion much faster when a lot of people collectively reject something. Hence the damage control regarding metroid prime federation force, they heard the fans loud and clear.
Now I imagine they know what paper mario fans want by now, the thing is, no one can make them make a paper mario game that returns to it’s original form. The awful direction they have taken it in is profitable, most likely because of the install base of the 3DS/wii, you have to take into account that thousand year old door was on gamecube, near the end of it’s life.
Now, color splash deserves 100 percent of the bashing it gets, it might be a good game but it sure as hell is not a paper mario game, what they have turned it into never will be. You cannot bastardize an IP and demand praise, make a new IP if you are going to throw everything out.
I have no delusions about paper mario, fans are blindingly aware of just how long ago it was since thousand year old door. When a new game is announced it is now met with groans and very little hope. Making shit on deviantart and emailing them is absolutely worthless I assure you, might as well email them about censorship, like they give a fuck at all. The IP being raped while being profitable is just a crying shame, a disgrace, it stings so much that out of all the nintendo IPs that paper mario had to be chosen for the one that gets cut apart and has the soul sucked out of it. The best fate for paper mario thatI wish for is for it to just be left alone. It would of been much, much better if it was just out of comission like f-zero, which still can be revived one day the right way and not dismantled if they chose to do so unlike what thye done with other series.
Paper mario is now just a waste of development time, a wasted slot on a list of upcoming games.

                        1. The damage control regarding FF only proves that Nintendo doesn’t care about negative feedback in the slightest. They didn’t change the game or announced a new Metroid game, they say they wanted to ‘help us understand what makes FF a main Metroid experience’, or something to that effect. It’s incredibly patronizing and it shows how Nintendo completely disregards fan feedback.

Voting with your wallet is literally the only way they are going to take you seriously.

“color splash deserves 100 percent of the bashing it gets”
You sure are making me hard to take what you say seriously.

“it sure as hell is not a paper mario game”
There’s no such a thing as a ‘Paper Mario game’, that’s what you don’t get about this whole scenario. 2 similar games vs an oddball and two similar ones. By your own admission, there’s no such a thing as a true Zelda game anymore.

“You cannot bastardize an IP and demand praise”
If the game is good (and that’s a big if), it deserves praise. Anything else is being closed-minded.

“The IP being raped while being profitable is just a crying shame”
You’re getting into ‘stop liking what I don’t like’ territory.

                        2. You cannot change mario kart into a turn based RPG and expect people to accept it and not bash it for not being mario kart. Nintendo does not listen to feedback either way, but negative feedback does get noticed at least. And nintendo does listen to voting with your wallet, which I an sure a lot of paper mario fans do but kids and hardcore nintendo fanboys do not and will buy anything. Which is why we can expect NOA to censor games until the end of time.

                          1. Sadly, Nintendo has become the WWE. Fuck the hardcore fans because the casuals make up for the loss of those people since Nintendo only cares about money these days.

        1. I guess the most important stories are for Kirby, Starfox Guard, and Paper Mario, then? Paper Mario could be good, although nothing about the trailer really shone. Kirby games aren’t really for me, but I guess somebody might like it. Starfox Guard actually looks way more interesting than the main game, in my opinion; I’m seriously considering getting the digital version.

Actually, I forgot one, big thing: Super Mario Maker! Nintendo is such a weird company, they are so penny-pinching in some ways, but with Super Mario Maker they just keep giving us awesome content, even though they could totally get away with far less. When Nintendo does good, they do good.

SNES games on New 3DS. Not sure how many people this actually affects, but it doesn’t affect me in the slightest.

Wish we had gotten ZeldaU footage or a Pikmin 4 reveal, but it’s never good to get your hopes up for these things.

          1. Would have loved a Pikmin 4 reveal, was really hoping for that! But I’ll guess we’ll have to wait for E3. Didn’t mind the lack of Zelda U news, that’s only logical, as TPHD is releasing today. The Super Mario Maker update is somewhat of a “game changer” in terms of level design, loved that!

What I’m most happy with is that we finally got a release date for Fire Emblem Fates for Europe, even though we have to wait until 20th May for the game… And I totally agree on the Star Fox Guard game, I think it looks really interesting, while I have no interest in picking up the main game.

            1. The one thing we can take away is that Pikmin 4 is not a spring to summer game. So an E3 showing is not out of the question.

            1. See that is what happens when you become a nintendo sheep. You can´t deal with negativity.

If it is too much for you then be quiet and return to your colorful nintendo matrix. If I feel like expressing my negative impressions about this direct then so be it.

            1. Reminds me back when pissed off Mega Man fans used to call Capcom “Crapcom”. At least Cashcom is a more fitting name because of their greed during the last generation.

        2. The Direct wasn’t that bad. It was pretty much what I expected, with the added bonus of Paper Mario, Kirby, and Star Fox Guard. Not an amazing presentation, but not bad.

          1. Glad to see someone who wasn’t expecting this direct to cure cancer or something outrageous like that. The Direct was pretty decent. Star Fox looks interesting, I’m hyped for Color Splash and may look into Pokken. Kirby was a very bad way to end the direct though, I was expecting so much more. Oh well, I’m just happy we got some news.

            1. Personally, I think it was fantastic. I expected nothing, and I got Rhythm Heaven, Kirby and hype for Star Fox, and a great indie reel. Hollow Knight is my jam, I was glad to see it featured on the European Direct. Paper Mario might be good if they manage to correct what dragged Sticker Star down.

        3. I like most of the things shown, but I am *concerned* about the new Paper Mario. It looks as if it’s going off of Sticker Star because of the level select screen and that fan item. Star Fox Zero looks even better than what it looked like at E3, and it probably will be better than Star Fox 64 (but we have to play it first, of course; you never know whether or not a game will be good until launch). Kirby Planet Robobot looks great, but the name could use some work, in my opinion. I’m mostly very happy so far.

        4. Welp…. My wallet was not expecting this… Damn it and my back log was already full…. but Kirby… in mech…. #FE… Paper Mario U >,<;;

I was most satisfied over all with what I saw. I mean, who could not love how Crazy Cat Lady became a class in an RPG. That's amazing.

        5. Starfox’s second bundled game looks pretty cool. Paper mario remains ruined, rest in piece. Metroid damage control. And Tokyo whatever they want to call it by the grace of god will not get some awful fucking dub making japanese kids sound like stilted 30 year olds, excellent news but NOA is not going to be happy with just how japanese it is and despite being rated M, expect some good ol’ treehouse treatment making you buy it used or not at all. Lots of 3DS shit if you care about the 3DS, I hope fire emblem, dragon quest, and monster hunter will be on my TV with the NX hopefully mixing handheld and console in a good way. 6.3/10 direct.

        6. And this folks… Is why you should never give your hopes and heart to the gaming harlot named Nintendo.. She spreads and stretches her digital c***t to the developers giving promises of a solid relationship with them, telling them oh so gently, in their ears that things will be made right… That this time things will be made right. She did this with EA, she did this with Ubisoft, she did this with capcom, she did this with YOU…

And then she fucks up like she always does never to deliver on her promises, whoring herself to the causuals . She did this with Wii U, she did this with today’s Nintendo Direct, she will do this with E3 2016…

If you keep believing her lies of “pleasa a’undastand”.. ” Me love you long time”…. Then your a complete fucking fool and to be frank.. A tool.

A proper Metriod game is “years” away if even that, because they want your grandma and fucking 7 years olds to play what they made for YOU.. Metriod Federation fucking Force..

How Pathetic… The church condemns the actions of the Harlot..

        7. so zelda, pokken, starfox, tokyo mirage and lost reavers.. all of them until the second semester of the year.. do you guys think they will release more wii u games after that?

          1. hahahaha no, and the definitive version of zelda 2016 will be on NX, they are doing a twilight princess thing so unless you don’t plan on getting an NX you can just chalk it up to being a NX launch title

              1. I really hope you’re right, because I believe the NX version will exist, and be better in every way…but again, I hope you’re right, cause I’m not getting an NX for a very long time.

        8. It was an ok presentation. I’m worried about paper Mario. I want to give metroid a shot. Kirby is just too easy for me so it doesn’t interest me anymore. I wish Starfox had an actual adventure mode and not just stage picking and they didn’t announce online battles which is a bummer cus that would have guaranteed my purchase. Overall tho there’s lots of games coming that I will not have the time to play unfortunately lol

        9. alot of hate, yet starfox stays on track for the april release and a couple new games. It is clear that the wii u is winding down, but still some fun to be had. Some people are either complete dicks or they just enjoy getting under people’s skin. So be it

        10. Lost Reavers looks alright, that type of game could be really fun I feel. I would expect lots of customization and different skills though. Maybe it’ll work out that way.

        11. Still bumbed that the Paper Mario game is so similar to sticker star… But with paint…

Metroid Federation force was “meh”, at least they acknowledge that the fans have mixed feelings about it…

Snes games on “New” 3ds makes me mad…

          More Amiibo’s as usual…

Overall the only games that stick out are the RPG games on 3ds, Monster Hunter, Pokken Tournament, and Star Fox Guard…

Overall it was an “okay…” Direct.

        12. Anyone notice when every Direct gets near the end and they say “And now for our last game…”, you find your self hoping to God they show a game you actually want?
          Then they be like:
          “We are happy to announce…
          Mario Amiibo Party!”
          Then you just rage quit…
          xD

          1. No actually. I don’t tend to expect anything specific on my Directs unless it’s specified for a certain game and even then I only expect to receive info on the game. I try not to guess what they’re gonna talk about. I seem to leave Directs more satisfied than not actually and don’t care if games I want are talked about because not all games will meet my tastes. I’m just happy there are more games coming out.

              1. lol Oh well I think we found your problem right there

I couldn’t do that though. My doctor tells me to watch my sodium intake. I need at least three bottles of water per comment section I visit after every Direct or Nintendo announcement, watch comments live would likely require medical supervision.

        13. I thought it was a very good direct. Star Fox Zero looks amazing!!! So much for the haters. Its everything I’ve wanted in a new Star Fox. Platinum influence is definitely there. The guard game looks like a nice bonus. Looks like I’ll be getting more that I bargained for in my pre order.
I’ve never played any paper Mario, so I’m pumped about Color Splash. The graphics look very nice.
Wish there was a pikmin 4, but maybe that will come in the June direct…

        14. Star Fox Zero: So no talk on if it will have online multiplayer? *hangs head & sighs* I guess we won’t get Star Fox 64’s multiplayer expanded on & made even more awesome with an online mode. :/

Paper Mario Color Splash & Metroid Prime Federation Force: Fuck those abominations! Give me a true to form, Paper Mario & Metroid, along with Animal Crossing & Chibi-Robo! Enough of these fucking spin offs, Nintendo! Just when I thought I was finally starting to get slightly over being filled with such anger & disdain for Nintendo, this Nintendo Direct comes along to bring it all back to the god damn surface!

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE: It’s not the Fire Emblem/Shin Megami Tensei crossover we were expecting or wanting but I still can’t wait to try it out. Unlike Federation Farce, I’m willing to give this game the benefit of a doubt.

LOST REAVERS: Ugh! I want this game now!

Hyrule Warriors Legends: Ugh! Fucking one time only code bullshit! FUCK YOU!!! We better get DLC down the road for the Wii U version with all of the Legends characters included for 20-30 bucks! Otherwise, I’m done with Hyrule Warriors… even on the Wii U!

Bravely Second: End Layer: Same with LOST REAVERS, I want this game now! Least we get the demo this month on the 10th! :D

Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past: I’m more interested in Dragon Quest VIII. I’m not gonna lie, though. It’s because of Jessica. @.@

That’s it for tonight from me. I’m gonna go play some more The Witcher III: Wild Hunt on my PS4! I need to kill some monsters & humans while simultaneously mutilating them into pieces! Must let off some fucking steam! KILL, KILL, KILL!!!

            1. It’s not King. It’s either King Kalas, King Kalas X3, or just Kalas. King is a title, not an actual name.

          1. You seemed to have mixed feelings about Pee Pee and Mudtard Fusion 5? lol (Talking about your second point, asuna?) :(

                1. Nintendo? You just made the worse mixtape of all time…. Forget #FreeKesha #FreePaperMario shall be our new hashtag until they get it through their thick skulls? lol

        15. I’ve never viewed Nintendo Directs as these big reveals that’s made to shock and awe Nintendo fans. I’ve always looked at them as glorified commercials. When you change your viewpoint to this, it’s impossible to be disappointed.

I think most people need to stop putting so much hype and expectations into these directs. They are just twenty minute long advertisements, nothing more.

        17. I was holding my breath for Picross 3D 2, am I the only one waiting for that game? At least Rhythm Heaven Megamix will release in the US this year.

Anyway, Star Fox Zero looks good, the bundle with Star Fox Guard will make me buy it at launch.
I also wonder how deep is the multiplayer in Kirby Planet Robobot, the game itself looks better than Triple Deluxe, so much that I might actually buy this one.

        18. Star Fox and Paper Mario are the only two games I have interest in. But I won’t be able to buy Star Fox next month because I’m buying a PS4, and that’s going to completely break me until May. And more amiibo? *sigh* I just can’t afford amiibo anymore.
