Japan: Nintendo 3DS Sells 26K And Wii U Sells Nearly 13K

This week’s Japanese hardware and software charts are now in courtesy of chart tracking firm Media Create. It would seem as though Wii U hardware is back in stock and sales of the console increased. Wii U exclusive Pokken Tournament topped the charts, but it didn’t sell quite as many units as one might expect, however it was enough to put it at the top of the charts. Interestingly, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD saw a 85% drop in sales this week. Anyway, there’s the best-selling software and hardware this week in Japan.

  3. Typical when a new game hits the Wii U: it sees a nice little rise in sales for the first week or first few weeks of that new game’s release only to go right back down to terrible sales numbers afterward.
