Yesterday the news was confirmed that the Wii had broken the record for the fastest selling home console in England and Europe, now it’s been confirmed that it’s also the fastest selling home console in Australia.
Official figures show that in excess of 32,901 Nintendo Wii’s were purchased within the four days of the revolutionary console going on sale, which in total amounted to 43% of all hardware sales within the whole country.
It appears as though Nintendo have surpassed all previous sales expectations with the Wii, as demand continues to flourish at an unprecedented rate of knots, boding well for the company fiscal reports.
