Those of you who’ve enjoyed the Prince’s latest escapades can rejoice as the seminal adventure series is set to arrive on Wii, alas in the form of a remake.

Gaming publication Nintendo Power has interrogated its integral sources and states that we’re set to see the final instalment of the trilogy; the well received Two Thrones, albeit complete with added Wii control.

The Prince of Persia franchise is critically acclaimed as one of the finest that’s re-emerged over the past few years, taking, and creating grand leaps in the field of level design, character fluidity and animation.

  1. 14 titles Ubisoft said. 7 in the launch window, 7 after launch window. Sounds good. Ok, one or two may be bad, but ultimately they should be 70% and over. Ubisoft are now my favourite 3rd party publisher, they are great and innovative

Seems as if I was wrong. Red Steel’s sword mechanic has been irritating me all day, Far Cry is an atrocity in terms of graphics, Rayman is just tiding me over until WarioWare and the other 4 are so ridiculous they don’t even deserve a mention. Not even Splinter Cell.

Now this. So, the first 7 are a let down and now they are just porting and hammering on Wii functionality more perfectly all right on last-gen games for the next set.

It is going to take something along the lies of a Beyond Good & Evil sequel in order for me to forgive them for this.

    .

    100% agreed.

Ubisoft sadly appears to be turning into an inevitable cash cow who’re too concerned with outselling and outpacing their rival’s; EA.
