Nintendo Wii Remote Is The Best Selling Peripheral

The best selling accessory in North America in the wintry month of November wasn’t the Xbox 360 HD-DVD drive, but was infact the Nintendo Wii Remote.

Craving punters raced to lay hands on an additional controller for the console which resulted in the revolutionary device shifting a whooping 270,000 units.

In comparison Sony’s new fangled Sixaxis controller fared less well, only managing to sell a paltry 98,000 units, something I’d imagine Sony never previously envisioned.

  1. Without a doubt. The design insinuates a modernistic flair that’s certainly comparable to Apple’s finest.
Let’s hope they don’t decide to pull the free Wii’mote’ from Wii Play, however unlikely that may seem.
