LittleBigPlanet stunned audiences at its début at GDC ’07 leaving many spectators wondering why the captivating title wasn’t snapped up by Nintendo, rather than Sony.
Well it appears as though Reggie Fils-Aime believed the development team at Media Molecule would be the perfect companions for the innovative team at Nintendo, but it appears Sony got there first with their wallets wide open.
“That product, I think, is quite intriguing. I’m not sure how well it will do on the Sony platform, quite frankly, but I think that the product they showed was outstanding.”
