Nintendo of America PR director Mark Franklin was asked by GiantBomb whether or not the new controller has a name. Franklin stated that “right now, we’re just calling it the new controller. Don’t have another name for it yet.” With the Wii controllers being called Wii Remotes or Wii Remote Plus, what do you think the Wii U tablet controller will be called?
