Nintendo UK has officially confirmed that the highly anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will be launching on November 18th. This date will be the same throughout Europe so you may want to consider putting down your pre-orders now. I’m just waiting on a press release from Nintendo America but expect it to be released around the same time.
Update: The Legend of Skyward Sword is being released November 20th in the United States

The long awaited release date… But why isnt it for here?! Why NoA? Why?! *sniff* *sniff* *cry*
You would think they would release it in December because of christmas sales and all. Oh well.
At least in the US, they would want it out before Thanskgiving, since that weekend is the highest revenue weekend for most vendors.
So if they want a worldwide release to be around the same time, it would make senese UK would want Nov 18, which would put North America at Nov 20.
Wow didn’t they not want to go to gamescom? Way to try and draw attention away from that. “we’re not going but we are announcing stuff anyway.”
Only thing bad about that date can be summed up in one word: Skyrim.

north america always gets things 2 days after Europe because we have things shipped to us on different days.
