Nintendo Wii: Rune Factory: Tides Of Destiny Details For Wii

Online gaming publication Siliconera are reporting that Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny for Wii will be more focused on battles and mythology and less focused on the social aspects usually found in the series. The Wii version will also be $10 cheaper than the PlayStation 3 version, but it will not support the Classic Controller. Anyone considering picking this up?

  1. Love these kind of games. I already sold my Wii a while ago and considering picking op a PS3. If I get a PS3, this is certainly going in my game collection.

      1. I use the Classic controller pro. It’s a great controller, it makes playing SNES VC games an awesome experience. Also works very well in Goldeneye Wii. Haven’t tried it on Brawl or Mariokart Wii.

    1. Because these games are more popular in Japan, and the 360 in Japan is like the PSP outside Japan; dead in the water. MS even tried to get Japanese exclusives to sell the system, but it didn’t sell.

  2. I didn’t find any issue with using the Wii remote on Frontier. I will be picking this up, specially since they have said the Rune system will be toned down. That was the only thing that sucked in the first one. Getting this for my Wii.
