Mario Kart 7 Takes Pole Position In Japan

Mario Kart 7 has claimed the top spot in the Japanese all-formats chart with Super Mario 3D Land lurking slightly behind at number three. It’s not been a bad week at all for Nintendo with The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Boom Street and Kirby’s Return To Dreamland all in the Japanese top ten.

  2. Isn’t this kind of late? There’s a preview already of this past week’s sales and Mario Kart is second, SM3DL is third, but Monster Hunter 3G is first with an almost complete sell out due to Capcom under shipping the game. Mario Kart 7 is still selling big numbers though, and SM3DL had another sales boost.
