Ubisoft has hinted that development for Assassin’s Creed 3 will be wrapped up at exactly the same time as the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions. Ubisoft would like a simultaneous launch for Assassin’s Creed 3 on Wii U, but admitted that the team is currently at the mercy of Nintendo to pin down a definite release date for the console. Nintendo isn’t expected to reveal the pricing or launch date until sometime after E3.
When asked when the Wii U version will launch, he replied: “Yeah, see we’re at the sort of mercy of [Nintendo], I think.
“It will all be done on the same date for all platforms, and then hopefully it all goes out the door at the same time.”
shock announcement; Wii U to launch tomorrow!
Has a console ever launched on E3? It would be awesome!!
Sega Saturn
They just got to wait until Nintendo thinks the time is right. I personally think the right time will be September. It will get it out before the Thanksgiving and Black Friday shopping sprees. Nintendo can’t wait too long to give aprice though. They need to give people time to save money if they have to. Leave luck to heaven.
I doubt the WiiU will be even out that early.
So maybe that rumor was true. The Wii U might launch somewhere around October or before that.
I hope they port over AC 1 and 2 to the Wii U.
