Ubisoft has released another trailer for ZombiU, which is coming out later this year exclusively for Wii U. You can see some features of the Wii U GamePad in the trailer above – for example, you will have to unlock certain doors by using the Wii U GamePad’s touchscreen.

We don’t know yet but in my mind there are two kinds of scary games: Creepy (see the pewdiepie slender videos for an example) and jump scares (that’s when things jump out at you)
It looked to me to have a mix of the two because in the nursery you are scared of killing little kids and that creeps me out but there are also jump scares.

Ah, im gona say yes. There was this bit in the first trailer where hes trying to open a keypad door using the gamepad, while the tv showed this zombies keeping up behind him haha i think it’ll be fear because of how helpless and vunerable you are.

I thought the textures didn’t look any better than current generation myself, but then with a compressed YouTube video it’s not really a perfect display of what the game really looks like. Looks like it could turn out to be a good game though!

Coming to multiplats…..ermm…i think i should just state the elephants in the room here, the other platforms dont have a gamepad, smartglass app and vita are missing what is used prominantly in the game, and the games called ZombiU.
It’s going multiplatform. Ubisoft said it would. It doesn’t NEED the GamePadat all. It just makes handy use of it. The game is easily played without it if modified properly, which I’m sure they’ll do.

Its a perfect time to release it imo, everyone was whining at how ResEvil and Dead Space werent survival horror anymore.

Atmospherically and gameplay wise, this looks dope and fun.
Graphically? I’m less than impressed. It’s like a slightly better first gen XBOX360 game. I certainly hope than changes before launch. The texture detail is pretty washed out, most noticeably.
However, they did a great job with lighting. I’ll give it a go regardless of the graphic pitfalls, but I don’t see why they can’t improve them before launch.
Yes, I’m going to have to agree. The environment textures are very lacking, IMO. I do have to hand it to Ubisoft for the detail put into the level though, especially the zombies themselves. Just the little details improve the atmosphere greatly.
All they need to do is add a lot better textures and it’s not going to have any problems in the graphics department, for me al least. Let’s hope for the best! :D
They are learning to program on a new system so it will take time for it to look next gen i’m not getting this for the graphics i’m getting it for the game-play and the new mechanics

The only thing stopping me from getting ZombieU is how big it is. I need to see more areas. If it is only like six short stages then I want be as interested in it.
