Capcom Reveals Why Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara Was Delayed For Wii U

Although it was released last June on other platforms, Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara is scheduled for release on Wii U in August. According to publisher Capcom, the reason for the two-month delay is because the Wii U version of the game had gone through some “unexpected dev issues.” For those who don’t know, Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara is a compilation of Capcom’s two games in the Dungeons & Dragons franchise – Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom, which originally launched in 1993, and Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara, which was first released in 1996. You can watch a trailer of the compilation here.

      1. PS3 and Xbox360 were having memory addressing issues with the game too, nothing to do with the consoles, but the developing of the game instead

  1. Nintendo found a major bug during testing in the online portion of D&D when it was submitted by Capcom at the end May. It was sent back to be fixed. All is good now.

  2. Hey Capcom how about you explain why SSF43D can’t get a 15 dollar upgrade to Ultra on the eshop.

  3. This article doesn’t explain much, but yeah what we’re all guessing is it is fixing the problem that is currently plaguing the PS4/XBOX online play. I was so looking forward to this game until I discovered you can’t have a local multiplayer mixed with online. Ultimate failing.

  4. Nintendo doesn’t let buggy games release on their platforms. They sent it back to get fixed. If you bought the PS/XB versions, then your dollars are funding the superior Nintendo version. That’s right, you bought a beta-test.
Sony and Microsoft don’t care if their buggy, glitch-ridden games erase your harddrive and sell your credit cards out to China. You stupid shit-eating playstatics and xboys will always be back to buy more.

    1. You’re an even bigger Nintendrone than all of the others combined.
This is neither Sony’s nor MS’ fault, it’s because Cashcom likes money.
Also you actually shoudn’t be worried about the online features because almost all Wii U’s get connected to the internet via the terribly unstable wireless LAN.

      1. So, basically you state here that wireless LAN is an unfunctional interface. I guess all laptops should give up this technology and use wired communication…

      2. You’re an even fatter shit-eater than all the others combined. This is precisely Fony and Microdick’s fault, because they like releasing games fast and unfinished to cash in on them as soon as possible.
You actually shouldn’t be worried about this article since all you do is eat shit and buy shitty unfinished games so that you can find bugs like these for us, so that our games are actually complete when they release.
Now don’t you have some Skyrim patches to go buy?

    1. “This is neither Sony’s nor MS’ fault, it’s because Cashcom likes money.” -digger-

And now you blame wiiU… put your mind in order before you comment, we have enough idiots around here, don’t be one of them

    1. Is that when it will be officially launched? I was going to buy this at launch, but between pikmin and ducktales. Il just have to wait till DnD goes onsale on the eshop. Nothing to complain about though,It will be out when its perfect.Nintendos attention to detail is unrivaled! Thanks..

  5. doesnt matter, too late nintendo and capcom…already got it on ps3 so no wonder everybody hates wii u….

      1. I don’t know which way you are shaking but I am shaking left to right then right to left. :P
