GamesHQ has uploaded seventeen glorious minutes of Batman Arkham Origins footage for your viewing pleasure. Arkham Origins Senior Producer Ben Mattes and Gameplay Director Michael McIntyre at WB Games Montréal commentate on the video. The footage shows off a number of things that are iconic in the Batman franchise, including the Bat Cave and the BatWing. The game is out this Friday in North America and November 8th in Europe.

Yep I have it. It runs much much better than the video above on PS3… At times Arkham City on Wiiu runs at like 45FPS for long periods.
I never had trouble with B:AC on my Wii U, always ran smoothly.
Exactly, it had very brief moments where it dropped right down and would cause a little stutter. but on the whole it ran great, sometimes exceptionally.

Why do they always post these videos? I get a trailer, but why would you want to watch a 17 minute or 30 minute or more video of gameplay? I mean, that just takes so much away from the game when you go to play it yourself if you intend to buy it. I don’t want to watch half of a game and then when I go to play, I’m like, “I know what to do. I saw all the secrets already.” It would ruin the first play through experience for me personally. But I guess other people like to watch it, so who am I to complain? Just curious about it honestly.

Usually trailers lie to people with CGI cutscenes rather than actual gameplay. I rather see videos like this before I decide to buy the games. In this game’s case, I want to see what the gameplay is like. Pokemon X: I avoided all spoiler videos like the plague (only thing I wanted spoiled was the Pokedex).
Yes, but I can understand wanting to see some gameplay, but I’ve some of these videos with like 77 minutes. That’s a lot of gameplay.

This looks very similar to Arkham City. I’m bored of this type of Batman experience. I want something new. Also is it me or do their faces look really weird when they speak? Not sure if they looked that weird in the other games.
