Nintendo Treehouse At E3 Schedule And Details

Nintendo of America has provided some details about what to expect from the Nintendo Treehouse: Live at E3 event. Nintendo Treehouse: Live @ E3 is a new way to bring Nintendo fans closer to E3 than ever before. During all hours of E3 – which runs from June 10 to June 12 – members of the Treehouse, Nintendo of America’s Product Development division, will be live-streaming a wide variety of game demos directly from the show floor.

Fans will be getting an unprecedented look at all the E3 games Nintendo has to offer. Instead of reading a short tweet or catching a gameplay trailer, fans can watch live as members of the Treehouse give in-depth gameplay demos of new and previously unannounced titles. There will also be special guest appearances from developers who will provide in-depth game commentary, including an appearance by Shigeru Miyamoto on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 10th.

Treehouse Live will broadcast:

  • Tuesday, June 10: 11:35 AM PT – 4:00 PM PT
  • Wednesday, June 11: 9:15 AM PT – 6:00 PM PT
  • Thursday, June 12: 9:30 AM PT – 5:00 PM PT

      1. Lol I like to yell at my bro and cousin’s “Have some candy!!” when playing Mario Kart 8 on the cake level xD (it reminds me of sugar rush in Wreck it Ralph)

      2. oh yes… it was the same thought :-)
same style and also a race.
it would be awesome if ralph and vanellope would be there to as an animation in the background.
maybe with king candy and a fight on top the mountain with cherrys or mentos :-)

      3. Why does he have to be 5 to make a joke to his family when he’s having fun with them on Mario Kart 8?

    1. Indeed, I can’t wait super excited this E3, I knew last one wouldn’t be so great since every console was just getting started but now it is time for everyone to show off the big guns.

I hope Miyamoto will be showing that new game he has been talking about.

  1. Looks like Miyamoto’s new IP will be revealed at the Digital event, then shown at the Treehouse. Hoping it’s another platformer/adventure game, rather than the Wii Music and Wii Fit affairs.

      1. Ah, so you mean developed by Nintendo EAD instead of developers like Intelligent Systems, Monolith Soft, and GameFreak. 2nd party is technically made by Nintendo, but it would be interesting to see what a new RPG would look like from the main studio would look like. Not since the NES/SNES days have we seen one.

      2. Technically 2nd party, even though Monolith Soft is mostly owned by Nintendo. It’s the same deal with Intelligent Systems and Retro Studios. For ease, most people just refer to games made by them as first party.

      3. Monolith Soft isn’t mostly owned by Nintendo, it’s 100% owned by Nintendo making any games they make now 1st party titles. Same for Intelligent Systems & Retro Studios. 1st party developers make 1st party games, not 2nd party games.

      4. A game made by a company that Nintendo doesn’t fully own or a company that Nintendo has a partnership with like Rare back in the day. Wonderful 101, for example, would be a 2nd party title from Platinum Games.

      5. I’ve always wanted an RPG with an all-star cast. Similar to how Kingdom Hearts has a bunch of Disney characters. But one with several Nintendo characters and worlds to explore. As long as the main character isn’t as dumb looking as Sora. I hate his girly face, giant clumsy feet and wussy-looking keyblade. In fact, Sora and those other Final Fantasy characters caused me not to like Kingdom Hearts as much as I thought I would. If Nintendo stuck with ONLY Nintendo characters, I’m sure it would be good. Then again, there are SOME third party characters I wouldn’t mind. Such as Mega Man and Pac-Man.

      6. That sounds awesome! The final fantasy characters turned me away from the Kingdom Hearts series as well, as well as the Final Fantasy like writing (which was atrocious). They could make a new character to play the main role, or just have you choose from Mario, Link, Samus, or Kirby or something like that…

  2. I can’t wait for E3. I’m looking forward to this one more than last year’s E3. Nintendo AND Sony better have some great news.

Nintendo because I want more Zelda, Metroid, hopefully Star Fox, & Miyamoto’s new IP along with release dates for Bayonetta 2 & X. A name for X would also be much appreciated along with whether it’s a new story or whether it has some ties to Xenoblade Chronicles.

As for Sony, I want a reason to actually get the PS4 this year. A release date for Kingdom Hearts 3 & Final Fantasy XV would be a good start. If not a release date, at least a release timeframe.

  3. That’s a lot of time to show games off! I have high hopes for Nintendo this E3, although I still am keeping my expectations in check.

      1. I know. I feel like they’ll go all out but at the same time I feel this E3 could be too over hyped. D:

  4. So the Digital Event will finish at 11:35 (or before 11:35), and after the treehouse ends at 4:00pm the SSB Invitational starts.
The only problem I’ve found is that the Treehouse schedule overlaps with the 4 Nintendo’s unannounced titles’ streams at Twitch.
Hopefully the Treehouse will cover those too or I’ll need two screens.

  6. AAAHHH!!! So much Nintendo this year. I’m LOVING it!!! I also like how Nintendo’s conference is an hour long this year and not 41 minutes long like last years. I think this years will be a hell of a lot better than last years.
