US software saes data has begun to trickle in thanks to the NPD Group. The best-selling game in May was Watch Dogs which was closely followed by Nintendo’s well-received Mario Kart 8. - Watch Dogs
- Mario Kart 8
- MLB: 14
- Wolfenstein: The New Order
- Minecraft
- The Amazing Spiderman 2
- NBA 2K14
- TitanFall
- Kirby: Triple Deluxe
- Call of Duty: Ghosts

Spider-man, you GO!
Good job Nintendo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just realized the Spidey game is ON Nintendo systems!
Wii U, U go!
And MK8 had whopping 2 days in may. I bet June looks much better
=O you’re right!
But considering that Watch Dogs is multiplatform and Mario Kart 8 is only for Wii U…
And when Watch_Dogs is out for the U, imagine the Wii U sales!
TRUE!
Mario Kart 8 managed the number two spot even though it was released 2 days before the end of May.

Well looks like the big N was saved from MK8, good show Nintendo…specially with one game compared to 5 other versions of one other game. Just goes to show you that you can damage control all you want, it don’t mean shit when it clobbers the competition…
Funny how Wii U’s so called in stall based management to outsell every version of Watch Dogs except PS4’s version.
Dude, Mario Kart 8 is second best-selling game of may with only 2 days being available in May?! That’s amazing. Also, congrats to Ubisoft even though they hyped the hell-out-of Watch_Dogs
Glad to see Kirby on the list. You guys should try and get it.
Way to go, Mario Kart 8! Whoooooo!
Got to see MK8 be so high there, with being released on one console in the last two days of the month!
Good for Mario Kart.
But does every american own a copy of Minecraft by now?
Are they donating extra copies to third world countries?
Yeah I don’t know what that’s all about. I never liked it, but apparently everyone else does so…
