NPD: Here’s The Best-Selling Games In The US During May

US software saes data has begun to trickle in thanks to the NPD Group. The best-selling game in May was Watch Dogs which was closely followed by Nintendo’s well-received Mario Kart 8. Not to be outdone, Kirby Triple Deluxe for Nintendo 3DS landed in at number nine. Here’s the top ten best-selling video games in the US in May.

  1. Watch Dogs
  2. Mario Kart 8
  3. MLB: 14
  4. Wolfenstein: The New Order
  5. Minecraft
  6. The Amazing Spiderman 2
  7. NBA 2K14
  8. TitanFall
  9. Kirby: Triple Deluxe
  10. Call of Duty: Ghosts

  3. Well looks like the big N was saved from MK8, good show Nintendo…specially with one game compared to 5 other versions of one other game. Just goes to show you that you can damage control all you want, it don’t mean shit when it clobbers the competition…

  5. Dude, Mario Kart 8 is second best-selling game of may with only 2 days being available in May?! That’s amazing. Also, congrats to Ubisoft even though they hyped the hell-out-of Watch_Dogs

    But does every american own a copy of Minecraft by now?
    Are they donating extra copies to third world countries?
