Major Japanese retailer Tsutaya has revealed how the Japanese charts are shaping up ahead of the Media Create sales charts on Wednesday. The retailer says that both Super Smash Bros on the Nintendo 3DS and Destiny on the PlayStation 4 are selling well. It should be noted that the charts are valid only for its own stores.

I have to defend Xbox since nobody else will. For the record I do like Nintendo more than Sony and Sony more than Microsoft. The main difference is that I like all three and that I prefer the Xbox One to the Wii U. Typically that is not the case. Gamecube won its generation and the N64 won as well. I do think that Nintendo went downhill with the Wii and continued with the Wii U, but I’m a diehard Nintendo fan all the way.
Dude. Nobody defends Microsoft because most gamers are poor and have to rely on their parents to pay for their video games! Take me, for example, I own all consoles, pay for all my games by working 2 jobs, and I know what console is better in the many different categories. Wii U is obviously the best next gen console because of Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3D World, and Wind Waker HD. Xbox One is definitely second best because of Halo MCC, and significantly better online services. PS4 is absolutely the worst console because it doesn’t bring anything new to the table. It’s just an small console that offers slightly better graphics than Xbox One, and offers more Indie games due to the lack of exclusives. My PS4 is literally my dust collector. The next time I’ll use the PS4 is when Bloodborne launches, but I might not even have time due to the difficult engineering workload that I will have. Open your eyes people, and remove all bias. Try to make some more money, because poverty and the PS4 are seriously intertwined, and it needs to stop.

I’ve heard that 360 multiplats for better than ps3 because 360 was easier to develop for and closer to pc, so the ps3 versions were usually ports of the 360 version. But ps3 was more powerful when used to it’s potential.

Well for ps4 and 3 vs one handheld it’s pretty impressive. I am surprised destiny is on top being an average game. Overall this is pretty good news

I don’t know. The difference of install base between 3ds and Wii U makes me think 3ds will win in sales. However, I hope the game moves enough Wii U consoles for that version to win in the long run.
Not even close. Its already known that the 3DS will sell more due to first release, affordable price and high 3DS install base. But Wii U version will gradually help push Wii U sales further along with Hyrule Warriors and Bayonetta 2 bundle..oh and Captain Toad. :) This holiday season is Nintendo’s own Christmas.

I got the destiny bundle, and IMO it’s a ok/eh/decent game so far (and that’s with friends going through missions whom are around the same level more or less). Honestly though it’s getting a tad repetitive and can REALLY use some more creativity since some missions get redundant pretty fast. I had more fun playing Goldeneye for the Wii (Goldeneye 64 obviously being untouchable during its time) during the same time frame of playing destiny and even that felt like a COD reskin at times. Idk, we’ll see if it gets better (hopefully :x)

The 3DS version impacts the Wii U version’s sales. Most of the money will be made there instead. Especially with the new 3DS bundles.

I already knew this but Wii U is not in deep trouble over it. Both are very different games with few shared functions and similarities like the roster and online play. Besides, Wii U will have more to make up for its part aside from 3DS Smash Run which is now a disappointment without online play.
…Not really. They all have the same characters. It’s just a few modes, trophies, etc that make them different. And of course the obvious visual differences. Only dedicated fans of Smash are going to buy both versions. Such as myself. And I was talking about the 2 Smash Bros 3DS’s. People that buy that are obviously going to get the game as well. Lol. I think it’s amazing I can buy Smash for my 3DS and I don’t need the Wii U version until 2015. I don’t think they made the Smash games different enough to want to make 3DS owners buy it again. The GC controller lost my interest when I found out it had no rumble. Also, Amiibo is usable with Smash 3DS too. And they’re really just toys to be honest. I doubt they would help either the Wii U or 3DS version. They’re just… there. Lmao. For people that want Nintendo figurines. I’ll be buying a ton of them once I get enough money. I want a Rosalina, Lucina, Captain Falcon, Luigi, Sonic, Peach, Zero Suit Samus, Little Mac, Link, Toon Link, and a Zelda one. I love Nintendo toys. After I get these, I might consider even getting Nintendo plushies… xD
How does it make sense to make a controller..in 2014, with no rumble? That’s just as retarded as Xbox One still relying on changeable AA batteries. Nintendo wouldn’t be that stupid to exclude the rumble feature in the new GameCube controller when the original had one.
I’m sure Nintendo is working on their own version of Disney Infinity-like adventure game with all Nintendo characters together. :) I might get some Amiibo figures but I’ll wait until they have a more interesting software and purpose to go with it.
Exactly. GC controller rumble is one of the best parts about the controller. It’s just so strong and amazing. If it doesn’t have rumble, it’s freaking useless to me. I don’t care if it has a Smash symbol on the middle or whatever. The Pro Controller is incredibly awesome in terms of design and although it doesn’t have rumble as strong as GC, it’s better than nothing. Getting that GC and plugging up an adaptor is just CCP all over again. Why even bother? Especially with how sleek and sexy looking that black Pro Controller is. Lol.
If anything, I’ll just get the adapter since I still have two original GC controllers left (purple and black) or just stick with Pro Controller.
Even Destiny can’t beat the hype.
