Yup, you read that right, you will be able to use Yoshi, Mario, Peach and Donkey Kong Amiibo figures with Mario Kart 8. The news surfaced from US retail store Walmart which currently has Amiibo figures on display with a screen displaying details about them to unaware customers. Be sure to check if your local store has them.

Because there is not a Bowser Jr. amiibo yet!!! You could say the same about Rosalina and Bowser, but they doesn’t have amiibos yet either.
When they release them, I’m sure they will work with Mario Kart 8.
I know that there isn’t one of him yet but there will be. I meant he doesn’t count to me as one of the Koopa Kid amiibos I would want. I would get all 7 of the other kids. But he’s one amiibo I wouldn’t want if you gave it to me. I guess you can change the costume IN GAME to the one you want, which only gives you 1 of the 7, but the actual physical amiibo would still be bowser jr. I doubt they will make the other kids though, but I would love it. I am getting a free amiibo and there are some I am interested in, but I would love to have the kids.

Diddy, Olimar and Duck Hunt are my favorite characters to kick ass with. I hope their Amiibos are in the works.

I’m guessing kirby will work with rainbow curse, fox with star fox u and marth with SMTX FE
And an upcoming Shulk Amiibo will probably work for the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles X, maybe the Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong Amiibos will work in an update for DKCTF, and most likely the Zelda Amiibo will work for Hyrule Warriors

Putting limitations on which amiibos work on which games ruins a lot of excitement for me. It’s DUMB. Every amiibo should work on every amiibo-compatible game. Ooh, which amiibo works on Hyrule Warriors? Which one? Oh….Link. A character that’s already in the game. MAKES NO FREAKIN’ SENSE!
You really want nintendo to make dlc for every character in smash for HW, or just have it so amiibo works with characters already in the game? (Link, Zelda, Shiek, Ganondorf)
I don’t know what I expect? But you have to admit, it would be pretty cool to see a non-Zelda character in Hyrule Warriors.
It would, but the only other ips that I think could work is Kid Icarus and Fire Emblem.
It would be weird to have a kirby amiibo in the next real zelda game or something similar, that’s for sure.
They haven’t confirmed if the Link/Villager Dlc is compatible with amiibo.
