Nintendo has announced a new system update for the Wii U today. As promised a few weeks before, version update 5.3.1 resolves the Mario Kart 8 TV upload issue, which was triggered for many users after installing version 5.3.0 featuring the new amiibo settings. Previously Mario Kart 8 fans encountered error code 104-1852 when trying to upload their highlight reel onto a YouTube channel. Fortunately, version 5.3.1 resolves this issue and, according to the official changelog, has also brought a standard number of stability improvements to make for a smoother user experience.
Mario Kart 8 highlight reel upload fix:

Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience
Yes
What they need to fix is the music. Some race tracks I can barely hear the music like Excitebike arena (the Toads cheering is to loud)
You could change your audio settings to stereo. That might help.
They should add an option to costumize like almost every game.
I miss the custom emblems from MKDS. :(
I’m sure the music isn’t that great and it’s a stadium. Of course there will be cheering.
