Suppressive Fire Games Confirms Blood Alloy For Wii U

Suppressive Fire Games has confirmed that its forthcoming 2D Metroidvania title, Blood Alloy, is coming to Wii U. Drawing inspiration from the stamina-based combat mechanics of From Software’s Dark Souls and Demon’s Souls, Blood Alloy has players assume the role of a young female amnesiac, who regains consciousness as a result of software malfunction. Upon discovering her body is almost wholly cybernetic, she breaks out of her stasis pod to escape, discover the secrets behind her identity, and wreck havoc upon her enemies.

  1. I will be the first to admit I am a huge Nintendo fan boy and will pretty much support anything they do. But this just looks terrible to me. No way I would buy, this from what I’m seeing.

  2. The movement reminds me somewhat of the way demolition man and judge dredd games handled on the super nes. Ill keep an eye on this.

    1. Wow, what memories. I remember playing the hell out of Judge Dredd. I almost completely forgot about that on the SNES. I remember Robocop as well, some really good games.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

  3. Pfff… an elite game for people to show off. It is sad to see that game devs forget what games should do…. entertain us, not force us to do stupid and impossible things like in Demons Soul or Dark Souls. But hey, if people want this piece of shit, be my guest. I will ignore it and play games, which really entertain me.

    1. There are different kind of gamers. Don’t be so arrogant/stupid to think all of them want the same and everybody who wants something else is no real gamer…

Some gamers like challanges, leaderboars like in TW101, Bayonetta and so on. It can be entertaining too.

  4. This looks like a fun game. but how are the controls? They seem a little too hectic to me. But I could easily see a keyboard and mouse working well.
