      1. I never really figured out how to use Melia “properly”. I just keep on spamming elemental discharges on enemies and it doesn’t seem that effective…

    1. Ridley, the Angel of Death

Since the 3DS does retail AND downloadable, if physical copies are limited or ever become hard to find, people can always download the game.

  1. i wish they would come out with something new. so sick of pokemons and wii remakes. wii was LAST generation. at the same time i’m glad it’s another release i don’t have to buy as i’m being hit pretty hard financially by the new 3DS and amiibos.

    1. It’s for people who never played the original Wii version, which is A LOT. This is an instance where I actually agree with what Nintendo is doing, a fan service imo.

  2. I can’t wait to get this, but I have one question. Were the character models on the original version of this game so… ugly? Graphics really aren’t important, especially with a game as amazing as Xenoblade, but I’m just curious. I really don’t remember the character models looking like that.

    1. I’m a little puzzled as to why you think Xenoblade Chronicles 3D looks bad visually for what it is. 3DS games are 400×240 resolution and are blown up dramatically when viewed full screen in a YouTube video. Of course it’s going to look pixelated compared to how it looks on a five-inch 3DS screen or compared to the Wii original that was twice the resolution

  3. This trailer reminds me how grateful I am to be able to play this game in its original language audio track with english subtitles. We should have this option for all games from all countries!

  4. The New 3DS game box sucks!!! They block off 1/4 of the front box art for a banner?? Why not just have black spines instead of white for New 3DS games? Far better solution and stands out even more.

  5. I feel like i was living under under a rock when this game first came out, i never knew about it at all! what type of gameplay is this game? turn based or brawling? kinda looks turn based.

Since i’ve started playing as Shulk on Smash Bros U i’m seriously thinking about getting it though!….with the shulk amiibo!

    1. Well it’s not turn based, and it’s not brawling either. You can’t really categorize Xenoblade’s combat. Sounds cheesy I know, but it’s true. It’s a whole other type of it’s own

  6. I wouldn’t dare spoil the game, but this trailer doesn’t do the game justice.

This is by far one of the best games I’ve encountered in over 25 years of gaming.

Many plot twists and turns that you won’t expect or regret.

  7. Damn, I wish I didn’t miss XC the first time around- this honestly looks brilliant. Unfortunately the original Wii game nor a New 3DS aren’t in my budget right now…

  8. Can someone tell me if this is a hard to learn game? Wasn’t able to play the original. And the gameplay looks extremely confusing. But I REALLY wanna love this game! Can someone explain?

    1. Ridley, the Angel of Death

If you do every single sidequest, the game is very long. The downside, though, is you are able to speed through the main story/quest very easily as you get experience points for not just fighting monsters but for completing the quest itself. So when you do sidequests, I recommend only doing the time sensitive sidequests. Oh & only do battles when you can’t get past the next area or boss at your current level. Of course, you don’t have to do all of this if you don’t care much about having a challenging playthrough.
